Deepswap is a browser-based AI face swap service that replaces faces in uploaded videos, photos and GIFs, and its homepage calls it a professional video face swap tool online. Around that core it has added a VR face swap mode for 3D VR videos, an AI video generator, AI Character images and a few image tools, all drawing on one credit balance that comes with a paid Full Access plan.
Two points shape most decisions about it. Deepswap's own pages disagree with each other on several details, including output resolution, how long uploads are kept and whether any data is collected, so the sections below keep each page's wording separate rather than picking one. And an independent news investigation published in September 2025 documented Deepswap being used to create non-consensual pornographic deepfakes of real women; the terms ban that kind of upload, but the reporting questioned whether the rule is enforced.
Every video face swap runs on credits, and the Full Access plan sets how long a single video face swap can be (see Pricing). Upload size and swap length are therefore two separate ceilings.
Deepswap's VR face swap works on 3D VR videos through a three-step flow: sign in, choose VR Face Swap and upload the VR video and face images, then start generation and wait for the result. It is billed at a separate credit rate from standard video face swap.
The video generator covers image-to-video and text-to-video, plus a Video Extend option that lengthens an existing clip by up to 10 seconds. Several generation models are offered, each with its own per-5-second credit price.
Beyond face swap, Deepswap lists image enhancement, background erasing and a cartoonize tool among its extra AI features. An AI Character mode for generating character images is charged separately per photo.
The homepage summarizes the flow as uploading the video, photo or GIF, adding a face to swap, then previewing and downloading the result, and it notes that frontal, clear faces produce better swaps.
Deepswap asks for clear, unobstructed faces that ideally look straight at the camera; side angles and frequent movement can disturb face tracking and cause flickering, and faces that are too small in the frame may not be swapped at all.
Deepswap runs a detection system for inappropriate content. When content is flagged, the pop-up offers a sad face icon for sending feedback, which the FAQ says helps improve that detection system.
Deepswap's own pages describe the following scenarios. They show how the vendor positions the product, not verified outcomes.
Each of these scenarios puts another person's face into new content, and the terms make the uploader warrant that the use does not infringe any third party's rights, including rights of publicity and privacy.
It is a poor fit for:
Deepswap pricing combines a paid Full Access plan with credits that are spent per task. As captured on October 6, 2026, the pricing page showed two plans next to a countdown timer:
| Plan | Price shown | Label on page | Included credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1-Month Access | $9.99 (beside $19.99) | 50% Off First Order | 20 credits |
| 12-Month Access | $49.99 (beside $99.99) | 50% Off First Order | 20 each month, 240 total |
Both plans carry the page note "One-time, No Auto-renewal", and the "50% Off First Order" label is the only explanation the page gives for the lower figure next to $19.99 and $99.99.
Full Access lists these benefits: PRO access, 20 credits (20 each month on year access, 240 in total), a credit package discount, video generation, priority processing, HD face swap, face swaps on videos of up to 30 minutes, and multitasking. The face swap upload panel separately accepts files of up to 45 minutes, and neither page reconciles the two limits.
The pricing page's "One-time, No Auto-renewal" note sits beside a different account in the FAQ: not all payment methods on the website support auto-renewal, and if no subscription toggle appears on the account page, the payment method in use does not support it. App subscriptions are cancelled through Google Play or the Apple App Store, depending on the phone's operating system.
The terms do not say whether a "50% Off First Order" purchase counts as an item bought on sale.
A review platform's list of companies its visitors also looked at, shown next to Deepswap, includes Deepfakes Web and Magic Hour. Their own pages describe different trade-offs on clip length, watermarking and free access.
Against these, Deepswap's distinguishing points on its own pages are much longer video swaps on Full Access, multi-face swaps in one clip and a dedicated VR mode, while its main pages do not mention an output watermark.
The About page pledges not to use uploaded facial data or generated faces for algorithm training or any form of data analysis. That pledge is the vendor's own statement.
Yes, from the app's account menu or the web account page. Deleting an account is permanent: all data and rights are lost and the action cannot be undone.
The pages disagree. The pricing page labels both Full Access plans "One-time, No Auto-renewal", while the FAQ says some website payment methods support auto-renewal and that app subscriptions are managed in Google Play or the Apple App Store.
The upload panel accepts videos up to 45 minutes and 1.5 GB, while the Full Access benefits list a maximum face swap of 30 minutes of video. Billing is per started 15-second segment.
Deepswap's homepage, pricing page, FAQ, terms and privacy policy do not say whether finished files carry a watermark or an AI-generated label.
