Simplified is a browser-based AI marketing platform that combines an agent layer with a suite of writing, design, video and social media tools. The company describes it as an AI agent platform for marketing teams in which Riley, its AI marketing agent, plans, creates, and publishes campaigns end to end, while your team stays in control of every approval.
The agents do not replace the toolset. Every plan includes Simplified's design, video, writing, and social scheduling tools on their own, and the company calls the agent layer additional rather than a replacement. That matters for buyers: Simplified can be used as a conventional all-in-one content editor, as a campaign agent, or as a back end that external coding agents call.
The service is run by TLDR Technologies, Inc., which does business as Simplified. Its own pages give different audience figures: the homepage says 15 million+ users create with Simplified, while the download page headlines reviews from "2 million+ users". Neither number is independently verified.
Riley is the lead agent. After a brief, Riley plans the campaign and hands each piece to the specialist built for it, such as social posts for Instagram and LinkedIn, a launch email with a follow-up, and Meta and Google ad variants. Riley shows you the finished work before anything publishes; you can approve it, ask for a change, or steer in the same thread, and Riley schedules and ships on your sign-off.
Agents work from stored context rather than a blank prompt. The homepage says you can build agents that know your brand, products, customers, tools, and approvals, and add custom agents for launches, reports, projects, and handoffs as needs grow.
Simplified includes a social media scheduler with a built-in social calendar view, approval flows and review mechanisms, and teams and clients approve from dedicated workspaces. For client work, drafts can be bundled into one no-login review link where clients approve, reject or comment per post. Bulk scheduling and external client approval are listed as Business-plan features in the pricing data, so not every social feature comes with every tier.
Simplified offers a hosted MCP connector that works with Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex and other MCP-compatible clients. Through it, an external agent can generate images and video, manage brand kits and marketing projects, plan campaigns and publish across 13 platforms. The connector spans 105 tools and needs no separately generated API key.
A built-in guardrail applies to this route: the company says the agent always asks before it spends a credit or hits publish, so nothing goes out by surprise.
/plugin marketplace add celeryhq/simplified-ai, then /plugin install simplified-ai@simplified-ai. The plugin adds the connector plus 14 guided skills for social, brand, and campaign work.Good fit:
Poor fit or worth a closer look:
Simplified runs as a web app, and the download page lists iOS, Android and Chrome as additional entry points. Store figures below are as captured on October 6, 2026.
| Platform | Listing details |
|---|---|
| iOS app ("Simplified AI") | Free download, rated 4+, requires iOS 15.1 or later; 2.45 average from 20 ratings |
| Android app | 100K+ downloads, rated Everyone; 3.7 stars from 534 reviews |
| Chrome extension | 7,000 users; last updated September 30, 2024 |
| Shopify app | Separate plans from $15/month |
| MCP server, CLI, API | Hosted connector for coding agents and programmatic workflows |
Mobile purchases are a separate track. Subscriptions bought through the iOS or Android app unlock premium content in the app only, the pricing for the mobile app and the full web version is different, and mobile subscriptions cannot be switched or exchanged for web plans.
For publishing, the connector reaches 13 social platforms, from Facebook and LinkedIn to Bluesky and Telegram.
As captured on October 6, 2026, Simplified pricing is presented in two plan structures: campaign-based plans in its text, FAQ and structured data, and a credit-based plan selector embedded in the same page. They share plan names but not allowances.
| Plan | Annual offer | Monthly offer | Campaigns per month | Seats | Social accounts | Storage | Brand kits |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $79/month, billed annually | $59/month | 5 | Not stated | 7 | 5 GB | 1 |
| Pro | $99/month, billed annually | $119/month | 15 | 3 | 15 | 20 GB | 3 |
| Business | $199/month, billed annually | $239/month | 40 | 7 | 30 | 100 GB | Unlimited |
Starter also includes 100K AI words, 100 AI designs and 50 AI videos, while Pro and Business list unlimited AI words, designs and videos. In the structured data, Starter's annual offer is priced above its monthly offer, the reverse of Pro and Business; the visible copy only states "$79 per month" for five campaigns. Additional campaigns are $10 each on any plan. Unused campaigns do not roll over: they refresh at the start of each billing period.
The embedded selector shows a Pro plan "Best for freelancers, solo creators" with 7 social accounts, 1 seat, 10K generative AI credits and 1 AI agent, and a Business plan "Best for small businesses, growing teams" with 15 social accounts, 3 seats, 30K credits, 5 AI agents and API access. A yearly toggle advertises up to 35% off, but the plan prices were not displayed in the captured render. Add-ons are listed at $5/month per extra social account, $19/month for bulk post scheduling, $35/month for each extra AI brandbook and $10/month per extra user.
The help center describes the credit system behind this selector: monthly allowances of 10,000 credits for Simplified One, 30,000 for Business and 100,000 for Growth, renewing every month and usable across any tool. Costs vary by feature: an AI image takes 60–100 credits depending on the model, a 60-second text-to-video needs approximately 1,505 credits at minimum, and publishing to X costs 25 credits per post without a link or 250 credits with a link.
A Free Forever plan exists for trying basic functionality. A 7-day trial for $1 is offered on yearly subscriptions; any $1 or $0 trial automatically converts to a paid subscription at the end of the 7-day period, and it must be cancelled at least 24 hours before it expires to avoid the charge. According to the pricing FAQ, the trial includes full Starter access: 5 campaigns, 100K AI words and 100 AI designs.
Plans can be changed at any time: upgrades take effect immediately and downgrades at the next billing period, with no cancellation fees. The Shopify app has its own price list, starting at $15 per month or $108 per year.
Two products surfaced alongside Simplified in an independent review platform's related-companies panel and overlap with its agent-plus-scheduling pitch:
Simplified's own pricing page frames the choice differently, comparing its Starter plan at $79/mo with Jasper at $59/mo, ChatGPT Plus at $20/mo and HubSpot Marketing Hub at $800/mo. Those competitor prices and the feature check marks in that table are Simplified's claims, not independent benchmarks.
The two pricing structures disagree for plans with the same name: Business has 7 seats and 30 social accounts in the structured data but 3 seats and 15 accounts in the selector. An older FAQ on the download page still says pricing starts at $0 for individuals and $30 for teams.
On a third-party review platform, Simplified holds a 4.6 rating from 652 company reviews as captured on October 6, 2026. That platform's AI summary of 85 recent reviews is mostly positive but notes complaints that the platform is not very user friendly, the website can be slow, and the AI sometimes fails to produce the expected results from prompts. The same platform flags that the company has not invited reviews recently and has not replied to negative reviews.
Yes. A Free Forever plan covers basic functionality, and paid plans can be tried through a 7-day trial that converts automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends.
No, according to its privacy policy: user content and data obtained through Google Workspace APIs are not used to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
Generally no. Subscriptions are non-refundable, including unused credits and downgrades; the only stated exception is a verified technical failure reported within 24 hours of payment.
Yes. The hosted MCP connector works with Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex and other MCP-compatible clients, using an OAuth sign-in instead of an API key.
Campaigns do not roll over and refresh at the start of each billing period. Credits renew every month, and the help center does not describe a rollover for them.
