vivago AI Agent is a browser-based AI video agent that creates videos and images from a conversation: you describe a story or task, call up a skill, and the agent plans and generates the visuals (official pages also show it as vivago Agent, and its sign-in screen welcomes users to vivago R1). It is the new front door of vivago.ai, which HiDream.ai presents as an AI visual creation platform and model aggregator.
The service contract sits with Sparking Innovations Limited, a company based in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. HiDream.ai unveiled the agent as vivago R1 at the WAIC 2026 conference in July 2026, claiming it is the first multimodal creative agent able to generate and edit videos of unlimited length, a company claim rather than an independent test. A news brief dated September 9, 2026 reported that vivago R1 had gone live globally.
Every generation spends credits, and vivago's own pages disagree on plan names, prices and video length limits, so the figures below are attributed to the page that shows them.
The agent combines a chat composer, a library of task-specific skills and the model and template catalog of the wider vivago.ai platform.
The composer opens with the question of what story you want to tell. Typing / brings up the skill picker, typing @ attaches an asset you have already uploaded, and buttons beside the prompt box handle file uploads, asset selection and web search.
vivago's plan page quotes a launch description of vivago Video Agent: a swarm of AI directors invents characters and writes the story, you see keyframes before rendering, and a one-minute 1080p story video is ready in 40 minutes. These are vendor-presented statements, not measured results.
The overview page lists video models from OpenAI (Sora 2), Google (Veo 3.1 and Veo 3) and Kling (v2.6 Pro and Video O1). Its image models include Nano Banana Pro, Seedream v4 and Kling O1, so the platform works as both an AI image generator and a video generator. It also lists vivago.ai 2.0, the company's own video model, positioned as the fastest option with the lowest credit cost and tuned for social media formats. The overview page labels this as its 2025 model list, and the agent's skill cards do not name the model each skill uses.
A first project in the agent can run like this:
Each of these jobs maps to a named skill or example project:
Several of these start from existing material, such as a product video, a script or old photos, rather than from a blank prompt.
vivago AI Agent suits people who want finished visuals from a description and reference material, and who accept credit-based pricing.
Good fit:
Less suitable:
vivago pricing is credit-based: plans include a monthly credit allowance, and each task spends credits according to its settings. The agent's plan page, as captured on October 6, 2026, showed three monthly plans:
| Plan | Monthly price | Monthly credits | Task queue | Output limits | Usage rights |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Plus | $20 | 4,000 | Up to 4 tasks | 1080p video, 4K images, 15-second videos | Commercial license |
| Pro | $60 | 15,000 | Up to 8 tasks | 1080p video, 4K images, 15-second videos | Commercial license |
| Max | $100 | 28,000 | Up to 8 tasks | 1080p video, 4K image, 15-second videos | Commercial and resale rights |
Plus and Pro also list unlimited AI chat, fast-track generation, watermark-free export and access to all AI tools. Max replaces fast-track with priority generation with no waiting, and adds top-up credits at its best rate, priority access to new features and beta test invites where applicable.
vivago's overview page describes a different lineup, with Basic, Plus and Pro at $7.9, $19.9 and $59.9 a month billed annually ($94.8, $238.8 and $718.8 a year) and FAQ monthly prices of $9.9, $29.9 and $69.9. It also lists a free plan with daily refresh credits, watermarked output, 5-second videos and 100+ templates. The overview page says Basic carries no commercial license while Plus and Pro do, whereas the agent's plan page lists a commercial license on every plan it shows. It calls the AI Chat Agent a Pro-exclusive conversational creation assistant, while the plan page lists unlimited AI chat on Plus and Pro. The plan page itself notes that vivago may update products, features, pricing and policies, and that its official terms, system records and billing data prevail.
Among the reviews shown on the Android listing as captured on October 6, 2026, one reports that the AI Agent feature used 3,880 credits generating assets for one video without showing the cost first; it is a single account, not a measured pattern. Two other reviews say tools became locked behind a subscription even though the reviewers still held credits.
Launch listings and AI tool directories place vivago next to general AI video platforms; Runway and Magic Hour also sell credit-based plans:
vivago's distinguishing points are the skill-based chat agent and the third-party model catalog; unlike its captured plan page, both rivals also publish annual prices.
vivago's limits come from its plan pages, credit policy and terms of service.
New accounts get 30 free credits, and promotional credits from daily logins expire the same day. Beyond that, credits come from events, paid plans or top-up purchases; the agent's plan page showed monthly plans from $20 to $100 as captured on October 6, 2026.
HiDream.ai develops vivago.ai, and the terms name Sparking Innovations Limited in Hong Kong as the contracting company.
The agent's plan page lists a commercial license on Plus, Pro and Max, with resale rights added on Max. The overview page instead says Basic has no commercial license.
The Android app on Google Play includes the vivago Agent interface. The privacy policy describes an 18+ iOS version, but the US App Store page returned a not-found error when checked on October 6, 2026.
