What is OiiOii.ai?

OiiOii.ai is a browser-based AI animation agent that turns a story idea, outline or script into a finished multi-shot animated video. The company calls it the world's first AI animation agent platform: a team of seven specialized agents (Art Director, Scriptwriter, Character Designer, Scene Creator, Animator, Editor and Sound Engineer) handles script, characters, scenes, storyboard, video and music from a single text prompt.

The site and service are run by HOGI. AI HK LIMITED, which gives a registered address in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong. The terms of service present oiioii.ai as OiiOii's international website. A December 2025 report by an independent Chinese tech outlet described a startup under six months old, with a dozen or so staff and a closed-beta product that had drawn nearly 100,000 waitlist applications.

Core features

OiiOii.ai behaves less like a single AI animation generator and more like a production line. Agents plan the story, design assets and then render shots, and the Art Director picks the rendering backend for each shot, so one project can draw on different image and video models without manual model switching.

Characters and continuity

  • Character locking: once a character is designed, the Character Designer agent locks the face, outfit and proportions and passes them to every downstream shot, which OiiOii presents as its fix for face drift.
  • Character sheets: the same agent produces a multi-pose sheet with front, three-quarter, side and back views and several expressions for later shots to reference.
  • Shot-level regeneration: the canvas-based shot editor regenerates any single shot while keeping character identity, scene continuity and the overall story arc intact.
  • Longer stories: narrative videos can run past 60 seconds from one prompt by stitching coherent shots together, and 15-second clips are also supported.

Canvas tools

  • Parallel batches: several generation tasks run at once, and linked editing keeps storyboard panels in sync, so changing one element updates related scenes.
  • Motion and style references: first-frame and last-frame images guide video motion, while a universal reference lets any image serve as a style or content guide.
  • Your own material: reference images for characters and scenes can be uploaded, and an uploaded video can be restyled or extended on the canvas.
  • Exports: finished videos download as MP4, and assets such as character sheets and scene boards export as images.

Styles, sound and models

OiiOii lists 150+ art styles, from 2D anime and 3D stylized looks to cinematic, watercolor and ink wash, and styles can be mixed across characters and scenes within one project. The Sound Engineer agent writes background music and sound design to match the story's mood and pacing, or you can bring your own audio. On the model side, OiiOii says it orchestrates 25+ models, naming Sora 2, Veo 3.1, Seedance 2.0 / 2.6, DreamActor-M1, Kling, Kling o1, Hailuo 02, Vidu, Midjourney, Seedream 4.0 / 4.5 / 5.0, Nano Banana and NovelAI.

Guide

Each project moves from text to animation through a few review points, in the order of OiiOii's published workflow:

  1. Write or paste the story. Type an outline, or upload a script of up to 5,000 characters; the script is kept in its original form.
  2. Set the basics in chat. Confirm video length, aspect ratio and dialogue language.
  3. Review the storyboard. The storyboard appears in a grid of four or nine shots, where you can add or remove shots or regenerate a single shot without touching scenes that already work.
  4. Revise the script if needed. Editing the script updates the internal scene graph, and all downstream agents reflow their outputs.
  5. Add sound and finish. A Sound Director stage handles narration, sound effects and background music before the final cut, after which the video exports as MP4.

Generation time depends on the selected models, resolution, shot count and project length; short clips usually finish before multi-shot narrative projects with music and editing. To stop a subscription from renewing, open your avatar menu, go to Subscription&Bill, then Renewal Management, and choose Cancel Subscription.

Use cases and examples

OiiOii lists animated short films, social media animations for TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels, educational explainers, game trailers and cutscenes, brand marketing animations and music videos as content it can make. The examples below come from OiiOii's own blog and are vendor descriptions, not independent case studies.

  • Course series with a recurring host: a host or mascot can be saved to the asset library and reused across every lesson in a series. OiiOii's blog cites a creator benchmark of one to two days for an eight-minute finished piece, against a week or more before for a comparable AI-assisted video.
  • Game cutscenes and trailers: output is pre-rendered video that drops into an engine as a standard video asset; it does not render in-engine rigged models, so in-engine cinematics stay a separate job.
  • Manga adaptation: IP Designer and Character Designer agents lock a character's design first, a Scene Designer interprets each panel's setting, a Storyboard Artist orders shots to follow the page flow, and a Sound Director adds voice and audio.

Who is it for

OiiOii says it is designed for storytellers, marketers, educators and game creators with no animation background. An outside interview tempers that: in December 2025 the founder said complete beginners may be closer to drawing lots, sometimes getting a complete, usable result and otherwise finding the product nothing special.

  • Good fit: series built on recurring characters, short narrative or explainer animation, and pre-rendered game previz or trailers.
  • Teams: team plans add team projects and credits sharing and multi-user team seat management.
  • Solo accounts: an account is limited to a single individual and may not be shared unless the plan expressly allows it.
  • Age: users must be at least 13 or meet the minimum age required to consent to the service.
  • Weaker fit: anyone expecting free video generation (video models are member-priced), anyone unwilling to accept default training use of uploads, and studios needing in-engine cinematics.

Platforms

OiiOii runs entirely in the browser and works in modern Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox on Mac, Windows or Linux, so no special hardware is needed.

  • Interface languages: the native UI covers English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese, while script writing supports any language the underlying LLM can handle.
  • Command line: plan benefits include use of the OIIOII CLI, alongside watermark-free export, up to 58% off on models and 1080p HD export; the pages reviewed do not document what the CLI does.
  • Payments: renewal depends on the payment method, as Alipay monthly and Visa / Mastercard / Google Pay renew automatically and can be cancelled anytime, while Alipay yearly and WeChat Pay / Apple Pay / PayPay do not auto-renew.

Pricing

Credit is the platform currency, deducted by task complexity such as the number of storyboard shots, image generation, model type and video duration. The monthly plans compare as follows:

Plan (billed monthly)PriceCredits per monthPer-credit rate
BASE$171,000 instantly + 310 from check-ins$0.013
STAR$463,000 instantly + 930 from check-ins$0.012
PRO$1148,000 instantly + 1,550 from check-ins$0.012
APEX$23918,000 instantly + 1,860 from check-ins$0.012
TEAM LITE$694,000 instantly + 930 from check-ins$0.014
TEAM MAX$51946,000 instantly + 1,550 from check-ins$0.011

As captured on October 5, 2026, the plan cards carried discount labels (BASE showed "11% off" next to a higher $19 figure) and the page displayed a countdown timer; the platform also says it may run general or model-specific credit bonus campaigns from time to time. Billed yearly, BASE is $182 a year, shown as $15.2 a month, and APEX is $2,011 a year, shown as $167.6 a month. The Enterprise tier is sold through an advisor and lists unlimited bento top-ups, higher concurrent video generation and priority 1:1 technical support.

Credit rules

  • Expiry: subscription credits are a monthly allowance valid for 31 days, while top-up packs are one-time purchases valid for 365 days.
  • Order of use: credits closest to their expiration date are deducted first.
  • No transfers: credits are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • Member pricing: image generation costs more without a membership; GPT-Image2.5 Flare at 1K-low is 2 credits per image for members and 4 for non-members.
  • Video for members: Seedance 2.5 costs 10 credits per second at 480p and 22 at 720p, and Kling O1 costs 10 credits per second; for both, the non-member column reads "Members only."
  • Dollar equivalents: yearly cards list about $0.16/s for Seedance2.0 pro 720p, $0.25/s for Seedance 2.5 720p, $0.05/s for MiniMax H3 Max Turbo 768p and $0.08 per image for GPT-Image2.5 Flare 2K.

Free access and trial

The FAQ describes a free tier with daily credits, with paid plans unlocking higher quotas, longer videos and premium models. The pricing page gives no fixed free allowance: daily check-in credits reset at 00:00 UTC, with amount and validity subject to current campaign terms. Eligible new users with no paid history may get a USD 7 Base membership trial, with membership benefits and credits valid for 3 days.

Refunds and commercial use

Two refund statements sit on the same pricing page. One allows a full refund within 7 days of purchase only if no credit has been consumed and no member benefits have been used. The other says that during promotional campaigns, subscriptions and credit top-ups are promotional benefit products and are non-refundable after purchase. Separately, credits return to your balance automatically when a generation fails because of a system glitch. On commercial use, the FAQ says paid plans include commercial usage rights and points to the Terms of Service for the exact scope per plan.

OiiOii.ai alternatives

Third-party AI tool directories group OiiOii with other animation and story-video tools that automate less or more of the pipeline.

  • Runway, Pika and Sora: OiiOii's FAQ calls them single-model clip generators producing 4–10 second clips, and positions itself as a full narrative pipeline with seven agents that uses 25+ models as rendering backends. That framing is the vendor's own, and Sora 2 and Kling also appear among OiiOii's backends, so these tools are as much ingredients as rivals.
  • Anijam: offers script to animation that turns a full script into scenes, and lists lip sync to any audio plus an AI voice generator covering 30+ languages, which matters for videos built around talking characters.
  • Morphic: says it reuses characters and style across scenes with a coherent tone and look, targeting the same continuity problem that OiiOii's character locking addresses.

Limitations

Consistency and maturity

In a December 2025 interview, the founder said user feedback centered on controlling generation consistency. She also said the product had grown but was not yet at a level for real work, with basic consistency and continuity between storyboard shots as the main problems. Those remarks date from the closed beta, so they describe a known weak spot rather than a current measurement.

Pages that disagree

  • Model lists: Veo 3.1 and Hailuo 02 appear in the 25+ model list but not in the pricing page's credit table as captured.
  • Agent roles: the seven-agent roster differs from blog walkthroughs that describe IP Designer, Scene Designer, Storyboard Artist and Sound Director roles.
  • Plan names: the terms describe prepaying for "Bento Boxes" (service credits) under Starter, Basic, Plus and Pro plans, while the pricing page sells BASE, STAR, PRO and APEX.

Usage rules

  • Commercial use: commercial use, including advertising or marketing, is not allowed except as the subscription plan expressly permits.
  • Non-unique output: outputs may not be unique, and other users may independently generate similar or identical outputs.
  • Prohibited content: the terms bar obscene, extremely violent, pornographic, hateful or harassing content, among other categories.
  • Franchise-named styles: the story-films page lists "Ghibli style AI video" among its built-in styles, and the canvas style list includes presets named Naruto Series, Family Guy and Minecraft. At the same time, the terms prohibit instructing the service to generate outputs that violate intellectual property rights.
  • Service changes: OiiOii.AI may modify, suspend or terminate all or part of the service at any time without prior notice.

Privacy, training and ownership

  • Training by default: unless otherwise agreed, inputs, outputs and user interactions may be used to train and improve OiiOii.AI's machine learning and AI models, under a worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, non-exclusive, perpetual and irrevocable license.
  • Content license: users also grant a license to use, store, reproduce, display, publish, distribute and modify their content for operating, improving, promoting and providing the service, although the FAQ says projects are private to your account by default.
  • Ownership: OiiOii.AI does not claim ownership of your input or output, and the pricing FAQ says that, within the maximum extent permitted by law, you own the copyright of content you generate.
  • Data location: data is currently stored on servers in Singapore, with possible support from affiliates or service providers in other countries. The privacy policy says OiiOii does not sell personal data.
  • Upload limits: users may not upload personal data, privacy information, sensitive data or data involving national security or public interests.

Disputes

Disputes are governed by Hong Kong law and go to the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, and users waive jury trials and class or representative actions.
