Cleanvoice AI is an AI podcast editor for audio and video podcasts. Its editing step finds filler words and long pauses in a recording and cuts them out. A separate cleaning step strips background noise, mouth sounds and breaths, and an enhancement step works on tone, loudness and echo. The service is operated by Sigmoid Creativity S.R.L., a company incorporated under Romanian law with its registered office in Bucharest, which does business as Cleanvoice AI.
Four facts decide whether it fits most workflows. Usage is paid per processed hour, new accounts get a free allowance, uploaded files are deleted within days rather than kept as an archive, and the vendor describes the product as built for speech rather than music.
Cleanvoice groups its tools into editing, cleaning and enhancement, plus text outputs generated from the same upload.
Edits can be exported as a timeline to Adobe Audition, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Reaper and Audacity, and to any editor that reads .EDL edit decision lists. Every cut comes back as a timeline that can be opened and adjusted by hand.
Cleanvoice has two working modes: a browser workflow for individual episodes and an API for batches or products.
The examples the vendor highlights are recordings made in poor conditions and episodes that need several cleanup jobs at once.
Cleanvoice addresses podcasters, media agencies, businesses, audio engineers and video editors. The filler word remover is also aimed at YouTubers and video creators, course creators, coaches, journalists and teams editing interviews, webinars or presentations, while developers can run the same removal at scale through the API.
Cleanvoice's services cover a website, a web application and APIs. No native app from the vendor turned up in the US App Store search run for this page.
Uploads can be tried without signing up, new accounts get 30 free minutes with no credit card, and further use is paid per processed hour through a subscription or pay-as-you-go credits. All plans include all features, and the listed prices exclude VAT.
| Plan | Price (USD) | Processed audio | Price per hour | Credit rule |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free trial | $0 | 30 minutes for new accounts | — | No credit card |
| Pay as you go | $11 | 5 hours | $2.20 | Valid for 2 years |
| Pay as you go | $20 | 10 hours | $2.00 | Valid for 2 years |
| Pay as you go | $45 | 30 hours | $1.50 | Valid for 2 years |
| Subscription | $11/month | 10 hours per month | $1.10 | Rolls over up to 3× the plan |
| Subscription | $28/month | 30 hours per month | $0.93 | Rolls over up to 3× the plan |
| Subscription | $90/month | 100 hours per month | $0.90 | Rolls over up to 3× the plan |
| Custom plan | Custom | 200+ hours per month | Not shown | Custom billing |
Pay-as-you-go rates fall from $2.20 per hour on the 5-hour pack to $1.50 per hour on the 30-hour pack, about a third less per hour. A subscription at $11 per month buys 10 hours, twice the hours of the $11 pay-as-you-go pack, and the 100-hour plan brings the rate down to $0.90 per hour. Pay-as-you-go credits are described as flexible pricing for occasional use and stay valid for 2 years after purchase, even though each pack card also carries a "Processed Audio per Month" label. Subscription credits can be used anytime within the subscription period, and unused credits roll over up to three times the plan limit. Uploads are rounded up to the nearest minute.
Sales tax or VAT may be added depending on where you live, and companies in Europe can buy without VAT by entering a VAT ID. The pricing page title advertises plans from €10/month and a EUR/USD switch is shown, but per-tier EUR amounts and yearly-billing prices were not displayed in the default view captured on October 4, 2026. Volumes above 200 hours per month, or business customization, go through a custom plan.
The developer page lists more tiers than the main pricing page. It shows a 200-hour pay-as-you-go pack at $200, or $1.00 per hour. It also lists a 200-hours-per-month subscription at $175 per month, or $0.88 per hour. For more than 200 hours, custom pricing on that page starts from $0.20 per hour. Startups can request up to 200 hours of free API credit from the dashboard. The request form only appears while an account holds less than one hour of credit, and each account can apply once.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and does not affect fees already due or paid. Fees, subscription payments and credit purchases are final and non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise or Cleanvoice agrees in writing, and no refund is given for partially used periods or unused credits.
Descript, Adobe Podcast and Auphonic appear as alternatives in third-party comparisons of podcast cleanup tools, and each overlaps with a different part of Cleanvoice.
Files auto-delete after 7 days by default, and deletion the moment a job finishes is offered as an option. The terms set the outer limit: uploaded content and results are automatically and permanently deleted no later than seven days after processing completes or fails, or after an upload that was never processed. Content can be kept longer only where strictly necessary, for example to investigate a reported technical issue or a failed job, to meet a legal obligation, or to defend legal claims. Guest uploads made without an account are deleted no later than four hours after upload, unless the service says otherwise.
You keep all rights, including intellectual property rights, in the content you upload. Subject to applicable law you also keep the rights to the results, and Cleanvoice does not claim ownership of them. The terms say Cleanvoice will not use your content or results for any purpose other than providing the services you requested, except where law or a competent authority strictly requires it. On model training, the developer page states "No Training on Your Data" and says Cleanvoice records its own dataset in professional studios. Processing can still involve third-party providers, including cloud infrastructure, hosting and artificial intelligence providers.
Cleanvoice advertises GDPR compliance, EU data storage and ISO 27001 certification. Its data processing agreement also allows client personal data to be transferred to and processed in locations outside the EU/EEA as needed to provide the services, so EU storage and processing location are separate questions.
You can test uploads without an account, and new accounts get 30 free minutes without a credit card. After that, processing is paid per hour, with pay-as-you-go packs from $11 and subscriptions from $11 a month.
