HypeAuditor is an influencer marketing platform that its maker describes as a way to find, vet and activate creators, analyze competitors and use emerging trends to build campaigns.
The company says it built the first version in 2017 after seeing brands choose influencer partners on gut feeling rather than data. The Terms of Service name the contracting party as Stonecast Financial LLC, an Indiana limited liability company registered in Indianapolis, USA.
The core asset is a creator database that the Discovery page puts at 227.4M+ accounts across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X (Twitter) and Twitch. Another section of the same page shows 227.8M+ creator profiles, so the figure is a moving count rather than a fixed size; both numbers appeared as captured on October 4, 2026.
The Discovery workflow runs in five steps:
The examples below come from customer stories that HypeAuditor publishes on its own site, so they show intended use rather than independently verified results.
HypeAuditor's Discovery page names four target groups: brands, agencies running discovery for several clients, technical teams that want influencer data inside their own product without building a database, and global teams working in markets where most tools have limited coverage.
It fits less well for programs built around very small accounts, which fall below the report threshold described under Limitations, and for buyers who need a published subscription price before talking to sales.
HypeAuditor runs as a web app, with a browser extension, an API, an MCP server and third-party connectors around it.
| Module | Social networks named on the official page |
|---|---|
| Influencer Discovery | Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X (Twitter), Twitch |
| Media Monitor | Instagram, YouTube, TikTok |
| Media Plans | Instagram, YouTube |
| MCP server | Instagram, YouTube, TikTok |
| Chrome extension | Instagram, YouTube in the FAQ; the intro also mentions TikTok |
Five-network coverage therefore applies to discovery and analytics, not to every module.
HypeAuditor pricing for subscription plans is not shown publicly: the pricing page is a form to book a live demo with a sales expert, and no plan prices appeared on it as captured on October 4, 2026. The free entry point covers free media plans, campaign management and demo versions of other features. The help center names Basic and Pro subscription plans and says only card payment can be used for them, with invoices reserved for large purchases. The API is sold as a separate paid service. Buying a large number of reports can earn a discount.
| Item | Listed price |
|---|---|
| 1,000 AI credits | $5.00 |
| 10,000 AI credits | $50.00 |
| 50,000 AI credits | $250.00 |
| Discovery search (up to 100 creators) | 10 credits ($0.05) |
| Analyze an account, ask about an account, or content search | 100 credits ($0.50) |
| Full HypeAuditor report | 1 report credit from the plan |
AI credits form one balance shared by MCP, AI Scout and Scoring. The MCP server requires a HypeAuditor Pro plan or above. AI Scout draws on AI credits included with the subscription, more can be bought as an add-on, and credits are deducted only once the influencer search begins.
The published figures do not fully agree. The pricing line that lists 1,000 credits for $5.00 also says $0.01 per credit. The MCP landing page says analytics cost AI credits at $0.01 each, with a search at 10 credits and an analysed account at 100. At that rate, those counts would not match the per-action prices of $0.05 for a discovery search and $0.50 for an analysed account.
One reviewer on a third-party review platform reported being charged after asking to cancel; the company's public reply says rebill reminders were sent in advance and its follow-up message got no answer before the charge. This is a single account, not a pattern.
Three influencer platforms often compared with HypeAuditor differ on database size, network coverage and price transparency; all figures are each vendor's own claims, and they count creators differently.
Against these, HypeAuditor stands out for X and Twitch coverage in discovery and its competitor research modules, while Modash is the only one of the vendor pages checked here that shows a subscription starting price.
HypeAuditor states that all its data points come from publicly available profile and content data processed under GDPR Art. 14(1)(c), and that no private account access or creator consent is required. Its privacy policy says it cannot notify each influencer directly and passes the obligation to notify influencers about processing to the customer.
Not for subscription plans: the pricing page is a demo booking form. AI credits are priced publicly, starting at 1,000 credits for $5.00.
Yes. Influencers can send a change or deletion request to the Data Protection Officer, and data from a deleted social account is removed within up to 1 month.
Most reports are ready within 1–2 hours, and rarely up to 24 hours, for accounts with more than 1,000 followers.
