What is GPTunneL?

GPTunneL (written GPTunneL® on its site) is a Russian AI model aggregator that works in the browser and through an API. The company describes it as a platform where 200+ of the world's neural networks sit alongside its own Grom models and products such as Workflow, CodeBlocks and AI agents, used through one account and one balance without a VPN. It reports more than 2 million users and 5,000+ companies, and calls itself the largest AI platform for business in Russia by number of corporate clients, citing its own September 2026 data.

Who operates it

  • Group companies: OOO "RT" in Lytkarino (Moscow Region), ScriptHeads LLP in Astana (Kazakhstan) and Shock Labs OÜ in Narva (Estonia).
  • Russian edition: the licence offer is made by OOO "RT" (OGRN 1195027009407) to legal entities and fully capable individuals, including sole proprietors.
  • English edition: a separate offer from Shock Labs OÜ (registry code 14015152) addresses companies, sole proprietors and individuals aged 18 or older.

How it relates to model vendors

The company says it works with all model vendors directly, launches new models at the same time as their official release, and operates without intermediaries while paying agency VAT in Russia. It describes each model as connected through several independent channels, for example ChatGPT directly at OpenAI and via Microsoft Azure, and Claude directly at Anthropic, via AWS Bedrock and Google Cloud, with automatic switching and a 99.9% platform SLA. When a model calls itself an older version, GPTunneL attributes this to training data, says no substitution takes place, and states that the request goes to the model chosen in the interface or in the API's model parameter.

Core features

  • Third-party catalog: text models include ChatGPT (GPT-6), Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Qwen, GigaChat, YandexGPT and Perplexity, image models include Midjourney, Flux, Nano Banana and Recraft, video covers Kling, Sora, Seedance and Runway, and music covers Suno and Mureka.
  • Grom models: Grom GPT is a text model built for Russian, Grom Art edits photos by text command, Grom Nova returns an image in 3 seconds, Grom Pixel upscales to 100 MP, Grom TV makes video with lip-sync and Grom Zvuk writes music.
  • Workflow nodes: models are linked on a canvas so one model's result becomes the next one's input, combining photo, text, video and voiceover into one scenario that can be rerun as often as needed.
  • CodeBlocks: a text description becomes a ready HTML page such as a landing page, portfolio, presentation or playable browser game, which can be edited through dialogue and downloaded as one file.
  • Agents and assistants: each assistant works from its own instructions and your documents, answering by company regulations rather than the model's general knowledge.

One-click tools

Ready-made tools cover backgrounds, faces, watermarks, voiceover, transcription and video, and open in the browser without installation or a subscription. Transcription turns meetings, lectures and podcasts into text with timestamps, in Russian and 90 more languages. There is no built-in batch upload, so tools take files one at a time, and repeat jobs are meant for the workflow builder, where an operation is saved once and only the input file changes.

Guide

Connecting through the API

  1. Register and top up the shared balance.
  2. Create an API key in the Profile section of your account; several keys can be created for different projects.
  3. Optionally limit a key to selected models, after which requests to any other model fail with HTTP 403 and the code model_not_allowed.
  4. Send a POST request to https://gptunnel.ru/v1/chat/completions with an Authorization header and the model name.

Setting up a company account

  1. Register an organization account and enter the details of the legal entity or sole proprietor.
  2. Generate an invoice in one click and top up the corporate balance, which has a minimum top-up of 3,000 ₽.
  3. Invite the team, distribute budget limits and open access to the models each person needs.

Use cases and examples

Client cases are grouped by function, and the payback figures attached to them are the company's own.

  • Marketing and PR: promo visuals and ad layouts, product cards and banners, and newsletter and social media copy, shown with a stated ×22 payback.
  • Documents and legal work: project and contractor documentation, contracts, offers and tenders, and internal regulations and minutes, shown with a stated ×21 payback.
  • Automation: the API is positioned for embedding AI into bots, services and internal tools.
  • Prompt-to-clip chains: the home page demo turns an image prompt ("model with a bag, studio light") into a photo, then a video prompt ("model walks with a confident stride") into a clip, as a simple chain from prompt to finished video.

Who is it for

  • Users in Russia: ChatGPT without VPN or a foreign card is offered for text, code, documents and problem solving.
  • Companies rolling AI out to staff: a whole staff can be connected with no per-user or licence fee, and the company pays only for actual model usage from a single balance.
  • Administrators who need control: the owner or administrator can allow or hide individual models and set personal daily or monthly limits.
  • IT and security teams: SSO and Active Directory let employees sign in with their work profile.
  • Procurement-led buyers: the product is in the Russian software register under No. 4036097, and the company says it takes part in corporate procurement under 223-FZ.
  • Agencies and resellers: white label runs the same service under a partner's domain, logo and colours; GPTunneL keeps prices, updates and support, and the partner earns a share of users' spending under an agency agreement.

It is a weaker fit for anyone who needs a permanent free plan, prepaid packages that never expire, adult content, or batch processing of many files in one tool.

Platforms

  • Browser: tools run in the browser on computers and phones alike, with no programs, extensions or Photoshop plugins to install.
  • Access: the service says it works worldwide without a VPN, charges only for use, and takes Russian and foreign cards.
  • Two web editions: the English terms cover the platform at https://app.gptunnel.ai, separate from the Russian app at gptunnel.ru.
  • OpenAI-compatible API: one key reaches 100+ models for text, images, video and audio in the OpenAI request format, while the home page counts 200+ models across the service.
  • Drop-in clients: any OpenAI-compatible library works after swapping base_url for https://gptunnel.ru/v1 and adding your key.
  • Claude endpoint: /v1/messages is a proxy rather than a format translator, with request and response bodies matching Anthropic's documentation, so the official Anthropic SDK and Claude Code work after a base-address and key swap.
  • Claude only: that endpoint accepts only Claude models, and a request naming any other model returns 404 with the error type not_found_error.

Pricing

The ruble price list charges only for use, with no subscriptions or mandatory payments and a minimum top-up of 50 ₽. The English edition prices in US dollars, again without subscriptions, with a minimum top-up of $5.

Sample text-model rates

The table shows base rates per 1,000 tokens for four text models on the ruble and dollar lists.

ModelContextPrompt (₽)Reply (₽)Prompt ($)Reply ($)
GPT 6 Astra1.05M2 ₽10 ₽$0.02$0.1
Claude Opus-5.51M1.2 ₽6 ₽$0.012$0.06
Grok 4.6500K0.4 ₽1.2 ₽$0.004$0.012
DeepSeek V4 Pro1.05M0.23 ₽0.68 ₽$0.0023$0.0068

On both lists, rows such as GPT 6.1 Sol, GPT 6 Luna and Gemini 3.8 Flash show two price pairs next to a −50% badge. API requests cost the same as in the interface, except for special tariffs.

How usage is billed

  • Units: text is billed per 1,000 tokens with prompt and reply counted separately, images per item, voiceover per 1,000 characters, music per track or per two-track generation, and video per second or per finished clip.
  • Conversation history: 1,000 tokens equal about 350–400 Russian words or about 750 English words, and because the model rereads the whole dialogue, each request pays for the full history as well as the new message.
  • Before sending: the price is shown before a request goes out, and packages sell a fixed volume at a reduced price for regular work.
  • Rounding: an incomplete billing unit is counted as a full one unless special conditions say otherwise.
  • Taxes: tariffs on the site are stated without applicable taxes unless the page says otherwise.

Loyalty discounts

Tiers depend on spending over the last 30 days, and the discount applies to every model in the catalog.

Tier30-day spend (₽)30-day spend ($)Discount
Plus500 ₽$55%
Bronze2,000 ₽$208%
Silver6,000 ₽$6012%
Gold12,000 ₽$12017%
Platinum30,000 ₽$30022%
Diamond60,000 ₽$60025%

Dollar thresholds come from the English list, ruble thresholds from the Russian one.

Payment methods and free access

  • Rubles: SBP with no commission and instant crediting, cards from any bank including MIR, Visa and Mastercard, and invoices with closing documents for legal entities.
  • Dollars: cards via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay), USDT and other crypto with a +10% bonus, and bank-transfer invoices for companies.
  • No permanent free plan: some models and tools become free from time to time during promotions, and that set changes.
  • Free model: Grom 1.5 is listed as free without topping up, while other models are charged at catalog rates.

Packages, expiry and refunds

Bonuses credited under a package last 30 calendar days from crediting unless the package description says otherwise. Auto-renewal may be offered for certain packages, charging the linked payment method on the chosen cycle, and can be switched off at any time in profile settings. A package is refundable only if not a single bonus from it has been used; after any use, even partial, neither the package nor its unused remainder is refunded, except where Russian law expressly requires it. The ordinary balance is described differently: unspent money on it does not burn, according to the API FAQ.

Replying to a third-party review that called generation costs unreasonable, the company said some models, especially video, are expensive at the vendors themselves and that it keeps its markup close to the minimum needed to run the service.

Alternatives to GPTunneL

Russian media rankings of AI aggregators place GPTunneL next to services such as BotHub, VseGPT and OpenRouter. The practical differences are how prepaid money expires, where chat data is kept and how large the catalog is.

  • BotHub: the service says its packages, except the Enterprise tariff, have no expiry and its tokens do not burn, unlike GPTunneL's 30-day package bonuses.
  • VseGPT: the service says chat data is kept in the browser rather than on its server, while warning that some upstream providers it calls may store data.
  • OpenRouter: an API aggregator that lists 500+ active models on 80+ providers.
  • Provider routing: OpenRouter also offers custom data policies so prompts only go to the models and providers an organization trusts.

Limitations

Provider dependence

OOO "RT" does not guarantee the platform will meet a client's requirements and expectations, and the offer states that access and generation quality rely on providers' software that works "as is".

Content rules

  • Legal baseline: users may post only content that complies with Russian law, respects third parties' rights and contains no prohibited, false or offensive information.
  • Sexual content: the rules ban pornographic or sexual content, and also content that "promotes non-traditional sexual relations and/or preferences" or "denies family values".
  • Professional advice: content offering legal, financial, medical or other specialist consultations without involving a qualified specialist is prohibited.
  • Music names: music prompts may not mention artists or public figures, including well-known musicians, actors, politicians or brands.
  • Unpredictable moderation: music moderation may block words that are not strictly prohibited, such as "blood" or "fight", and identical prompts may be handled differently.

Account terms

  • Blocking: OOO "RT" may block any client's access unilaterally and without explanation, including when it detects violations of external services' usage rules.
  • Verification: the company may request documents confirming a client's data and age, and may suspend access if they are not provided within 5 business days.
  • Trials: a trial period is granted only to legal entities and sole proprietors.

User ratings

As captured on October 5, 2026, a third-party review platform showed a company-level rating of 4.5/5 based on 296 reviews and ratings. It rates the company as a whole, not individual models.

Privacy and rights

  • Data location: the Russian operator records and stores Russian citizens' personal data using databases located in Russia.
  • Data collected: email, full name, phone number, country of residence, payment details, service usage volumes, IP address, browser and account IDs.
  • Legal basis: the company says it processes personal data under 152-FZ and, where data must not leave a company, offers its Data Obfuscator or on-premise deployment of models.
  • Requests reach providers: with obfuscate: true, personal data in every dialogue message is replaced with placeholders before being sent to the provider.
  • Images excluded: the obfuscator does not process images, so personal data in pictures reaches the provider as is.
  • Training: for business clients, the company states that requests and corporate documents are not passed to third-party services for training neural networks. The general privacy policy reviewed does not address model training.
  • Business data: personal data, history and company registries for business accounts are stated to sit on protected servers in Russia.
  • Admin visibility: a business administrator can open the chat and generation history of any employee.
  • Output rights: rights to content created with GPTunneL belong fully to the client unless service rules or applicable law say otherwise, and OOO "RT" claims no rights to it.
  • Tool outputs: results download in full resolution without badges, logos or cropping, and rights to processed material stay with the user.
  • English edition: its privacy policy refers to Estonia's Personal Data Protection Act and the GDPR.
