chad (branded on its site as Chad AI) is a Russian-language AI model aggregator: a web and mobile chat that sends your text, image, video and music requests to models built by other companies, all paid from one ruble-denominated balance of "sparks". The service describes itself as opening access to models such as GPT 5.2, Claude 4.5, Gemini 3 Pro, Midjourney v7 and Sora 2, rather than as a developer of its own model.
The name, domain and "ChatGPT in Russian" page title echo ChatGPT, so chad's own wording matters. chad's FAQ says it uses a paid priority version of ChatGPT from OpenAI, pays for it abroad, and provides it in Russia for people who do not want to deal with limits, queues or a VPN. Its knowledge-base footer adds that using the service means agreeing to OpenAI's ChatGPT usage rules, and that chad provides access to the chatbot and bears no responsibility.
The license offer draws the same line in legal terms: the licensor is not the rights holder of the neural networks, grants users no rights to them, and use of each model is governed by that model owner's own terms. In practice chad is a paid wrapper around third-party models. The pages checked for this review do not describe any partnership with or endorsement by OpenAI.
The license offer is published by a Russian individual entrepreneur (a sole proprietor) acting as licensor. According to the same document, the service is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software under record No. 29375 of August 29, 2025.

Per-word prices vary widely: Claude Opus 4.7 costs 10 sparks per word while DeepSeek V4 Flash costs 0.7 sparks per word. Because every model draws from the same balance, the model you pick, not the plan name, decides how far a monthly allowance stretches.
Earlier messages in a chat are part of what gets billed. The memory limit can be changed by clicking the memory-spend icon in the input line and choosing how many sparks may be spent on memory per request. Turning context off leaves only the typed and generated text in the count.
The user guide still counts usage in "words" and lists older models such as GPT-4o and GPT-4.1, while current pages bill in sparks and list newer models, so the interface is the better reference for exact names. The same guide lists pinning, deleting, renaming and sharing chats for organizing conversations.
The homepage FAQ gives a self-service path: open the account and go to Tariff → Subscription → Cancel subscription. After auto-renewal is switched off, the paid subscription keeps working until the end of its term or until its spark limit runs out. The license offer describes a different procedure, covered under Limitations.
The examples below are chad's own positioning, not independent results.
chad markets the bundle as one subscription that replaces a dozen: because all output types share one balance, a single chat can move from drafting text to generating an image or a short video without switching services.
chad names its main advantage as fast use without a VPN, queues, server overload, bugs or a foreign phone number. That makes the clearest fit people in Russia looking for ChatGPT without VPN, a foreign card or a foreign number, who also want Claude, Gemini, Midjourney or Sora under the same account.
It is a weaker fit for anyone who needs service or legal guarantees outside Russia, a direct contract with a model provider, or predictable monthly output, since allowances are metered in sparks and shrink fast on premium and video models.

chad sells an OpenAI-compatible API: its documentation says the API works with the OpenAI SDK and that in most integrations it is enough to replace base_url, enter your API key and choose a model. The API page advertises availability without VPN, 72+ models in one API, and payment by Russian cards or by invoice. It also says the service automatically changes provider if a provider returns errors, which means the upstream serving a given request can change. Rate limits apply and depend on your plan.
Every plan is a monthly allowance of sparks. chad defines sparks as the words the user enters and the neural network generates, and dialogue context counts as well. Plans as listed on September 28, 2026:

The wide ranges exist because the amount of content in each plan may differ depending on the neural network. A few rules the table cannot show:
Three descriptions of free use coexist. The ChatGPT landing page advertises free generations every day. The price list includes a "GPT Free" model that costs 0 sparks per word. The user guide describes seven text requests via GPT-4o Mini or Claude 3 Haiku, 1,500 words per request, and up to two images with FLUX.1 Schnell. None of the pages reviewed reconciles these versions.
The license offer requires 100% prepayment by non-cash transfer in Russian rubles. Invoices are sent only to legal entities, so individuals pay through the payment options inside the service. Once the paid usage rights have been provided, the fee is not refundable because of the licensee's own actions or inaction, or on a unilateral withdrawal from the contract. The fee is also not returned on early termination if access under the paid plan was provided.
chad competes with other Russian-language aggregators that also promise access to Western models without a VPN and billing in rubles.
Its pages make no such claim. chad says it buys paid ChatGPT access abroad and provides it in Russia alongside other companies' models, and its offer states that it holds no rights to those neural networks.
The site says it is available without a VPN, and payment is in rubles. The offer gives no guarantee about legality of use outside the Russian Federation.
You can renew early or buy extra sparks with an active subscription; plan sparks are spent first.
Under the license offer, the fee is not refundable once the paid access has been provided, including when the contract is terminated early.
The offer allows commercial and non-commercial use and says the licensor claims no exclusive rights to results, but the terms of the underlying model providers still apply.
