What is Toolsaday?

Toolsaday is an AI platform at toolsaday.com that groups four product lines: AI writing tools, fiction tools, a text-to-speech converter and an AI image generator. The company describes it this way: "We are a smart tool that provides cutting-edge AI technology to help you in your work and creativity, saving valuable time and money while streamlining your daily tasks."

The writing side is the core. Its pricing page calls Toolsaday "your one-stop shop for cutting-edge AI writing assistance", and the catalog runs from a paraphraser, grammar checker and plagiarism checker to template generators for emails, ads, blog sections, YouTube scripts and stories, plus a novel-writing workspace and a library of user-built Custom AI Tools.

The homepage states "Trusted by 700K+ users" and also claims "1,000,000,000+ Words Generated" and "100,000+ Hours Saved"; these are the company's own figures and were not independently verified.

Two points shape most buying decisions. First, writing, speech and images are priced as separate plan families, each with its own pricing page and plans. Second, the AI models are offered under animal code names, and the pages checked do not say which underlying providers power them.

Core features

Paraphrasing Tool

Toolsaday's AI paraphrasing tool rewrites pasted or uploaded text, can leave chosen words untouched, and reports statistics such as word count, readability score and percent change.

  • Rewrite modes: "we've developed 30 distinct modes of paraphrasing", combining practical modes with tone-based ones such as Humorous, Nostalgic or Suspenseful.
  • Mode picker: the tool's mode bar shows Basic, Standard, Fluency, Confident, Informal, Simple, Formal, Creative, Shorten, Expand and Academic, then "+ 19 more" and a Custom option.
  • Rewrite scope: users can rewrite sentence by sentence, paragraph by paragraph, or the whole text "in one go, optimizing overall flow and readability".
  • Languages: the page lists 23 supported languages, from Afrikaans, Chinese and Danish to Turkish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese.

Grammar and plagiarism checks

  • Grammar checker: corrects grammar and spelling "in English, German, Spanish, French, and other languages".
  • Language detection: the checker advertises "automatic language detection and spell-correcting automation" for documents that mix languages.
  • Plagiarism languages: the plagiarism checker "checks text in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian".
  • Search controls: users can exclude specific phrases or words from the plagiarism search and customize its sensitivity.

Story Generator, Novel Studio and Word Pilot

The AI Story Generator takes a plot, characters, setting, genre, tone and point of view, and the company says it "can generate complete stories, individual chapters, or specific scenes in seconds". A Dialogue Balance setting lets writers "adjust the ratio of narrative to dialogue". For longer projects, Novel Studio adds a manuscript workspace where writers "track characters, locations, items, and plot elements in one centralized dashboard". Word Pilot, the general editor, offers "autocompleting, paraphrasing, summarizing, translating, and more".

AI models and file context

Generation tools let users pick a model tier. "Basic AI Models include Cheetah, Liger, Leopard, Butterfly, and Falcon", optimized for speed on everyday writing, while "Advanced AI Models include Jaguar and Puma" and "may have specific usage limits depending on your plan". Tools such as Text Genie also accept uploads: "Upload files to provide context for more informed AI-generated responses."

Custom AI Tools

Custom AI Tools let users "build AI tools that fit your unique needs", from business analytics to creative storytelling. Tools built this way appear in a public library grouped into Writing, Story, Productivity, Research & Analysis, Education and Lifestyle, each showing how many times it has been run.

Text to Speech and Image Generator

  • Voices: the converter lists "1000+ general voices and 240+ pro voices".
  • Languages: "Our support extends to 200+ languages."
  • SSML control: users can control "speed, pitch, pause, and say-as attributes" through Speech Synthesis Markup Language.
  • Voice styles: styles include "empathetic, excited, newscast, whispering, lyrical, documentary narration, and many more".
  • Image styles: the AI Image Generator turns text prompts into images in styles including Photographic, Anime, Digital Art, Comic Book, Fantasy Art, Line Art, Cinematic, 3D Model, Pixel Art and Oil Painting.

Guide

Building a custom AI tool

Creating a custom tool takes four steps:

  1. Give the tool a name and a description of what it does.
  2. Write the Instructions, which "guides the AI on how to behave": the AI's role, what it should consider and how it should process inputs.
  3. Design the Prompt Template, "the structured format through which users communicate their needs to the AI". Each variable gets an input type such as text, select, checkbox, or a slider "with set minimums, maximums, and default values".
  4. Refine the tool by chatting: with Conversational Configuration, "you can communicate with the 'AI Creator' as if you were having a conversation with a skilled developer", asking it to add options such as a tone selector.

The pricing page lists Custom AI Tools on the Pro, Ultra and Max writing plans, not on Standard.

Toolsaday use cases and examples

Each Toolsaday product line is pitched at a different job.

  • Business email: the AI Email Generator is described as "perfect for sales, marketing, customer support, or networking".
  • Marketing and social copy: Text Genie is pitched to "create captivating marketing copy, social media content, or personalized messages with ease".
  • Fiction and novels: Novel Studio aims to "transform your story ideas into polished manuscripts" with character development, plot outlining and world-building tools, while the AI story generator covers short scenes and chapters.
  • Audio narration: the text-to-speech converter "caters to podcasters, content creators, businesses, and everyone in between".
  • Originality checks: the plagiarism checker is presented as helpful to "webmasters, bloggers, and writers who want to make sure their work is original".

Who is it for

Toolsaday's four writing plans are labelled by audience, which gives a quick fit test:

  • Students and casual writers: Standard is described as "Great for students and casual writers".
  • Professionals and creators: Pro is "Ideal for professionals and content creators".
  • Teams and heavy users: Ultra is "Built for teams and heavy users".
  • Agencies: Max is pitched as the "Ultimate package for agencies and enterprises".
  • Affiliates: creators who promote writing tools can join an affiliate program that pays "30% commission with a 60-day cookie window".

Toolsaday is less of a fit for children: the privacy policy says "We do not aim any of our products or services directly at children under the age of 13". It also suits people who work in a browser better than those who need a native app or an API, since none appeared in the pages checked.

Platforms

Toolsaday is used through its website. In the pages checked for this review, no mobile app, browser extension or public API was listed.

  • Account sign-in: with "Sign in with Google", Toolsaday says it only receives "basic profile information (name, email address, profile photo)" and has no access to Gmail messages.
  • Gmail connection: an Inbox AI email feature can connect to Gmail, but "This is a separate, optional step" that requires additional consent on Google's OAuth screen.
  • Audio export: speech files can be saved as "wav, mulaw, alaw, ogg, webm, mp3, pcm, and opus".
  • Sharing: the converter promotes sharing audio to "YouTube, TikTok, IG, Facebook, Discord, and Vimeo".

Pricing

Toolsaday pricing is split into three plan families, each on its own pricing page. All prices below are monthly list prices as captured on October 6, 2026.

A toggle offers "Monthly" or "Annually (2 months free!)", but annual prices are not shown in the page as served. There is no free trial; the FAQ says "we offer a free version of Toolsaday that includes top quality essential functionality", without listing free-plan quotas.

Cancelling

Cancellation runs through the account icon at the top right: open "Manage subscription", where "To proceed with the cancellation, click on 'Cancel Plan'."

Toolsaday alternatives

Toolsaday's appeal is breadth at a low entry price. Two narrower alternatives cover its main writing uses:

  • QuillBot competes on paraphrasing and checking. Its free plan states you can "Paraphrase up to 100 words" in 2 modes, whereas Toolsaday's paid writing cards allow 5,000 to 10,000 characters per request across 30 modes.
  • Sudowrite targets fiction writers who might otherwise use Toolsaday's Story Generator or Novel Studio. It promotes "Muse & Ballad, Sudowrite’s AI models just for fiction", while Toolsaday's models are general-purpose tiers.
  • Trial access differs: Sudowrite advertises "Start Free Trial" with "No credit card, cancel anytime", while Toolsaday offers a free version but no trial of its paid plans.

Limitations

Usage caps behind "unlimited"

The paraphraser page promises "unlimited paraphrasing without any restrictions on the number of words or the frequency of use". The paid cards show narrower terms: total characters are unlimited, but each request is capped at 5,000 or 10,000 characters, plagiarism checks at 3,000 to 10,000 characters, and Advanced models at 5,000,000 or 20,000,000 characters a month below the Max plan.

Refunds and renewals

  • Refund window: refunds for dissatisfaction "must be requested within 3 days of purchase".
  • Not refundable: "Cancellation of subscription after the renewal date" and requests made after the 3-day window.
  • Cancellation timing: cancelling takes effect at the end of the billing period, and "No partial refunds will be issued for unused portions of your subscription period".
  • Downtime: outages "exceeding 24 consecutive hours" may qualify for a prorated refund.
  • Billing errors: duplicate charges or incorrect amounts get "a full refund for the erroneous charges once verified".
  • Processing: approved refunds go back to the original payment method and "may take 5-10 business days".

Content boundaries

The terms bar using the service to "transmit or publish any harassing, indecent, obscene, fraudulent, or unlawful material". The public Custom AI Tools library is not limited to business tasks: as captured on October 6, 2026, it listed a "Steamy Romance Generator" to "create sizzling romantic scenes or storylines", showing 17,506 runs. The Butterfly model is described as designed for speed "but with less content restriction".

Legal terms and reliability

The Terms of Service say they "were last updated on 11 March 2021", and the privacy policy carries the same date. The terms state that Toolsaday "does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability" of its materials. Independent feedback is thin: as captured on October 6, 2026, an unclaimed third-party review profile showed 2.7 out of 5 from 5 reviews, too small a sample to judge quality.

Privacy and data use

Toolsaday says it does not use customer data for model training: "We do not use customer data to train our AI systems."

  • Deletion: "When you delete any generated results or data, it is permanently removed from our systems."
  • Gmail data: for Inbox AI, Gmail is accessed through OAuth 2.0, and the policy says "We do not store your email messages on our servers."
  • Advertising cookies: the policy says Google "uses cookies to serve ads on our Service".
  • Transfers: data may be processed in places that "may not have the same data protection laws" as the user's country.
  • Requests: for access, correction or deletion requests, the policy says "we have one month to respond to you".

Yes, according to the pricing FAQ: "When you use our AI tools to generate outputs, you are free to use them for your commercial activities."
