What is Prepostseo?

Prepostseo is a browser-based collection of more than 150 free online tools for writing, plagiarism checking and SEO, with paid plans that lift word limits and query quotas. The site is aimed at webmasters, students, teachers and SEO specialists, and its best-known pieces are a plagiarism checker, an AI paraphrasing tool, an AI content detector, an image-to-text converter and a bulk DA PA checker.

The site credits its ownership to Enzipe: the About page says Prepostseo was developed and owned by Enzipe Software House, and the footer describes it as a product of Enzipe. The iOS app, however, is sold under a different company name, CLIXADE LTD.

Two things shape almost every decision about Prepostseo. It is a toolbox rather than one product: 61 tools sit under Writing & Education, 17 under Domain Tools, 32 under Website Management and 59 under More Tools, and free limits differ from tool to tool. And it publishes no accuracy figures for plagiarism or AI detection, so its scores come without any stated error rate.

Core features

The All in One plan bundles six tools: the plagiarism checker, paraphraser, humanizer, AI essay writer, image-to-text converter and DA PA checker.

Plagiarism checker

  • Online-source matching: the checker compares submitted text against existing content from online sources, using different search engines, and returns a percentage of plagiarized and unique text.
  • Matched sources and highlighting: a Matched Sources tab lists the URLs and documents where matches were found, and flagged sentences are underlined in red.
  • File upload: accepted formats include .doc, .docx, .pdf and .txt.
  • Exclude a URL: specific websites or pages can be excluded, which is useful when your own published copy would otherwise count as a match.
  • Reports and follow-up actions: reports download as HTML or PDF; from a flagged sentence you can open a rewrite option or a citation generator.

The stated search scope is the public web. The checker page does not describe a repository of previously submitted papers, so it answers "is this text already online?" rather than "has someone handed this in before?".

Rewriting and AI writing

  • Paraphrasing tool: 10 paraphrasing modes, uploads in DOC, DOCX, TXT and PDF, support for 17+ languages, and a sentence-level option that generates several alternatives for one sentence.
  • AI essay writer: essay type, length (Short ≈ 700 words up to Extensive ≈ 4000 words) and reference style (APA, Harvard, IEEE, MLA or Chicago) are chosen before generation.
  • Grammar checker: flags grammar, spelling and punctuation, offers a one-click Fix All, and detects the input language automatically.
  • Smaller generators: outline, conclusion, thesis statement, cover letter, email, FAQ and meta description generators sit alongside the main tools.

AI detection and humanizing

  • AI content detector: returns an AI score and a sentence count of passages judged AI-written; the detector page offers English and Spanish.
  • Humanize AI Text: rewrites AI-generated text in Basic, Advance and Ultra modes for English, French and Spanish, and accepts PDF, TXT, DOC and DOCX uploads.

The detector page links straight to the humanizer, and the humanizer page claims its output passes detectors such as GPTZero and Copyleaks. That is the vendor's own claim; no independent test of it was found in this round.

Image to text

  • Image to Text (OCR): reads JPG, PNG, JPEG, GIF, JFIF, PDF, HEIC and WEBP, supports 20+ languages, can extract math expressions, and batch-converts up to 50 images at once.

SEO and domain tools

  • Bulk DA PA checker: returns domain authority, page authority and spam score and exports results as an Excel file. The free version checks 5 URLs at a time; premium users can check up to 500.
  • Webmaster utilities: Whois, DNS, domain age, broken links, sitemap generation, minifiers and similar single-purpose tools.

Plagiarism checker API

A separate API lets schools and publishers run the plagiarism checker inside their own platform. The API page lists "No Storage to our database" as a feature, and API plans are sold in 30-day query bundles.

Guide

The plagiarism checker is the workflow Prepostseo documents step by step.

  1. Paste your text into the input box, or click Upload and choose a .doc, .docx, .pdf or .txt file. Signed-out visitors see a word counter capped at 1,000 words.
  2. If your own site already publishes the text, add its URL to the exclude option first; otherwise your own page will be counted as a source.
  3. Click Check Plagiarism. The report shows the plagiarized and unique percentages at the top.
  4. Open the Matched Sources tab, or click a red-underlined sentence, to see which URL it matched.
  5. Rewrite, quote or cite each flagged sentence, then download the report if you need a record.

A paid subscription is cancelled from the Billing section of your account: open the subscription, click the three dots next to it and select Cancel Subscription.

Use cases and examples

  • Checking a blog post before publishing: a writer pastes a draft, excludes their own domain, and sees which sentences match live web pages. Because the tool matches against online sources, this is the case it fits best.
  • Link prospecting in bulk: an SEO specialist pastes a list of candidate domains into the DA PA checker. With a paid plan up to 500 URLs go in per submission, and results export to Excel for filtering by spam score.
  • Converting images to spreadsheets: Image to Excel costs 10 credits per image against Image to Text's 1 credit per image, so a monthly credit pool goes a lot further on plain OCR than on Excel conversion.
  • Comparing two known documents: when a teacher already has the suspected source, a separate Plagiarism Comparison tool compares two texts or pages directly, with a stated maximum of 50,000 words per search, instead of searching the web.

Who is it for

Prepostseo suits people who need several light utilities occasionally and would rather pay one small subscription than several specialist ones. The plagiarism checker page itself names students, teachers, researchers, and content writers and bloggers as the people it is built for.

  • Bloggers and content writers checking drafts against the public web before publishing.
  • SEO specialists and webmasters who want bulk DA PA and spam-score checks plus basic domain and DNS utilities in one place.
  • Students and researchers wanting a pre-submission check of their own writing.

It fits less well when:

  • The result carries formal consequences. Institutions set their own plagiarism thresholds, some at 10% and others at 15%, and a Prepostseo percentage is not the measurement your school runs.
  • The text is confidential. The site's own documents describe the handling of uploaded text inconsistently.
  • You want an AI-detection verdict. No accuracy figure is published for the detector, and the same site sells a humanizer marketed as passing detectors.

Platforms

  • Web: all tools run in the browser at the main site; most can be used without creating an account.
  • iOS: an app named "Plagiarism Checker -Prepostseo" is listed on the App Store as free, with a 4+ age rating and a minimum iOS version of 15.6. The seller shown is CLIXADE LTD.
  • Android: Google Play lists separate single-purpose apps under the developer name Prepostseo, including an AI Essay Writer, a Grammar Checker, an OCR Image to Text Scanner and an Article Rewriter & Paraphraser.
  • Windows: a "Plagiarism Checker" app is listed in the Microsoft Store under the publisher Enzipe.
  • WordPress: the site footer still links a PrePost SEO WordPress plugin, but the plugin directory shows it was closed on May 30, 2023 and is not available for download, with the reason given as a security issue.
  • API: the plagiarism checker API is available on its own paid plans.

The plagiarism checker page also advertises a Mac desktop application; no Mac download link was found in the pages checked in this round.

Pricing

Prepostseo sells an All in One subscription plus single-tool plans. Paid plans remove ads and captchas and raise the per-submission word limits.

The pricing page opens on annual billing; the monthly prices appear after switching the toggle.

An Image Translator plan is sold separately in monthly tiers of $9, $14.9 and $45, covering 700, 1.7K and 7K images at 10 MB per file. The plagiarism checker API is priced per 30 days: $10 for 5,000 queries, $29 for 25,000 and $199 for 250,000, with custom quotes above that.

Several plan cards carry "Save Big" badges with a struck-through price, for example 11% on Plagiarism Checker Basic and 50% on annual Paraphrasing. The page does not say whether these are time-limited offers.

How queries are counted

Plagiarism quotas are counted in search queries, and a query is one sentence. The pricing page estimates that a 300-word article uses almost 12–18 queries, while the general FAQ says a 1,000-word plagiarism scan uses approximately 20–30 credits. The two pages use different units, and neither page reconciles them with the other. When a plan's credits or word limit run out, the account drops back to free-tier features until the quota resets or you upgrade.

Free use is limited by rate as well as size: free users can process up to 10 requests per minute across Prepostseo tools. The humanizer's free version processes up to 700 words per request.

Prepostseo alternatives

Alternatives make sense when one of Prepostseo's boundaries matters for your task.

  • Your institution already checks your work: Prepostseo's own FAQ notes that some universities use Turnitin and others Copyscape. A Prepostseo percentage is a separate measurement from the report those institutions produce.
  • You want a similar free text toolbox: on a third-party review platform, the "People also looked at" box next to Prepostseo's profile is a recommendation slot, not a ranking of comparable tools. In this capture (2026-09-21) it listed Editpad, a text-tools site, alongside several SEO tool sites; the slot says nothing about detection quality.
  • Stored-text rules decide the choice: Prepostseo's own pages disagree on whether uploaded documents are kept, as the Limitations section sets out.

Limitations

The limits below come from Prepostseo's own terms, policies and product pages.

Accuracy is not guaranteed or measured

  • The terms state that Prepostseo makes no guarantees about the accuracy or reliability of its tools and is not responsible for loss or corruption of submitted content.
  • Product pages describe the plagiarism checker as "one of the most accurate" and the AI detector as "reliable and trusted", but no accuracy rate, false-positive rate or test method is published for either.
  • The terms prohibit using the tools for cheating or academic fraud, even though the humanizer is promoted as producing text that passes AI detectors.

Uploaded text: the documents disagree

This is the most important point for anyone checking unpublished or confidential writing, because Prepostseo's own pages give conflicting rules.

  • The privacy policy says content uploaded for plagiarism checks is not saved or stored, is removed from the system immediately after processing, is not shared with third parties and is not indexed by any search engine.
  • The terms of use say uploaded documents or text are stored on cloud-based servers specifically for plagiarism checking, and that you have the right to delete documents from those servers.
  • For images, the privacy policy says uploads are temporary and deleted after 5 minutes, while the image-to-text page says data is never stored in the database.
  • The privacy policy also says staff may view user content for support, for terms enforcement, or to enhance algorithms. None of the pages checked says whether submitted text is used to train AI models.

Privacy rights and data location

  • Information shared with Prepostseo is transferred to, processed and stored in the United States.
  • Personal data can be deleted by emailing support; premium users must cancel their subscription before the account can be deleted, and some data may be kept for fraud prevention, tax and legal obligations.
  • The policy commits to notifying users by email within 7 business days of a data breach.
  • Prepostseo does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Refunds are narrow

  • Refunds apply only to the current or most recent plan with unused queries, duplicate charges, or a wrong plan replaced by the correct one with the same validity period.
  • Change of mind, partial usage, recurring renewal charges, custom plans, the plagiarism checker API plan and plans bought at a discounted price during a sale are non-refundable.
  • Bank charges are deducted from refunds, and in special circumstances so are the processing fee and the price of used queries; requests are typically reviewed within 2–3 working days.

Outdated pages

The About page still describes 20+ tools and says visitors get 30 search queries while free users get 500 per month, which does not match the 150+ tools on the homepage or the per-minute limit in the current FAQ.

FAQ

Q1. Is Prepostseo free?

Most tools work without an account, but each has a free cap. A signed-out plagiarism check allows 1,000 words and the humanizer 700 words per request. Separately, the paraphraser's input counter shows 1000 words.

Q2. Does Prepostseo keep the text I check for plagiarism?

The privacy policy says no; the terms of use say uploaded text is stored on cloud servers for plagiarism checking. The two statements conflict.

Q3. How accurate is the Prepostseo AI content detector?

No accuracy figure is published, and the terms disclaim any guarantee of accuracy or reliability.

Q4. Can I get a refund on a Prepostseo subscription?

Only in narrow cases such as duplicate charges or an unused current plan. Renewals, partially used plans, API plans and plans bought at a sale discount are non-refundable.
