Creatify is a browser-based AI video ad generator: you paste a product link, upload assets or describe the ad in a chat, and it produces short video and image ads with AI presenters, scripts, voiceovers and captions. The creatify.ai site is owned and operated by Creatify Lab Inc., which calls itself an independent platform for creating synthetic media.
It is built for paid social and performance marketing rather than general video editing, pairing generation with competitor ad research, ad-account analytics and an API. In June 2025, technology press reported a $15.5 million Series A round co-led by WndrCo, the venture fund of DreamWorks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg.
Three points shape most decisions: usage is metered in credits, payments are non-refundable except where law requires, and avatars of real people sit behind consent rules.
The stock library is advertised at 1,500+ presenters, and the same page offers two other routes: upload your own photo or describe a presenter from scratch. Custom avatars can be built with Text to Avatar, Image to Avatar or Video to Avatar, and only the owner of a custom avatar can access it. Aurora is the default model in the Avatar Video tool, with the newer Boreal model offered as an alternative for each AI avatar video.
Voices come from two engines. Voice Model V3 handles emotion tags such as [laugh] and [whisper] across 70+ languages, while V2 renders faster, supports custom pauses and covers 29 languages. Marketing pages round the language count to "75+". In the pages checked for this review, no voice-cloning feature was found; presenters speak with library voices.
The Pro plan adds a Competitor Ad Tracker built on a library of 10M+ Meta ads, the Performance Agent with automations, and Creatify MCP for Claude and ChatGPT. Once ad accounts are connected, the Performance Agent is described as monitoring results, rotating creative and reallocating budget without manual reporting.
Together they form a loop of researching competitor ads, generating variations, launching them and reading results, which separates Creatify from avatar tools that stop at export.
The help center gives a slower estimate, saying custom avatars are typically ready within 1–2 business days after submission.
Upgrading unlocks watermark removal on existing renders: open Projects, choose the video, click the three dots and select "Remove watermark".
It is a weaker fit in two situations:
Some older tools are leaving the interface: AI Shorts, Product Video and Video Translation were scheduled to drop off the dashboard at the end of May 2026, though the help center still links to them directly.
Creatify pricing is credit-based, with a free plan and three paid tiers.
| Plan | Listed price | Monthly credits | AI actors | Max video length |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Free | 10 | 300 | Not listed |
| Starter | $39 per month | 100 | 300 | Up to 2 minutes |
| Pro | From $99 per month | 300–5,000 | 1,500 + 3 custom avatars | Up to 10 minutes |
| Enterprise | Contact sales | Custom | All | Custom |
Pro's credit selector runs from 300 to 5,000 credits a month, but the page text shows a price only for the 300-credit level. A banner on the pricing page says an annual plan saves up to 50%, yet as captured on October 4, 2026, the page does not label whether $39 and $99 are monthly-billed or annual-equivalent rates and shows no annual totals.
The pricing page describes the Free Plan as 10 monthly credits for up to 2 video ads or 20 image ads, 300 AI actors, 10 premium models and 40 templates, with watermarked exports. In practice, 10 credits covers up to 2 videos of no more than 15 seconds each; Ad Flow and Agent are available, but 10 credits is not enough to finish a full video with either. A separate help-center FAQ answer says the free plan receives 5 credits a month, so the pages disagree.
API access is a separate subscription: API Starter is $99 per month for 500 credits and API Pro is $299 per month for 2,000 credits, with Enterprise on request. API rates differ from the app; URL to Video through the API, for example, is billed at 5 credits per 30 seconds. A standalone AdMax page still lists a $299-per-month plan with unlimited video ad generation, while the main pricing page checked on the same day shows only Free, Starter, Pro and Enterprise.
Creatify is the stronger match when you want link-to-ad generation, competitor research and ad-account performance tools in one subscription; for training or internal presenter videos, a general avatar platform may fit more directly.
As captured on October 4, 2026, a consumer review platform's profile for the company showed a 3.8 score across 834 reviews, with 77% five-star and 17% one-star ratings. The platform's AI-generated summary of 239 recent reviews is mostly positive about ease of use, avatars and voiceovers, but notes that some reviewers had problems with refund requests and unresponsive support, and a few reported glitches, editing errors or long loading times during generation.
The Moderation Policy bans pornography and explicit sexual material, misinformation, unauthorized legal, medical or financial advice, and political campaigning or direct lobbying, among other categories. Users may contest moderation decisions by email, but submitting an appeal does not guarantee a response.
Yes, with limits. The free plan provides 10 credits a month, enough for up to two videos of 15 seconds or less, and exports carry a watermark.
Yes. The terms assign you copyright in your original content, but bar using outputs to train AI models and keep every use subject to the Moderation Policy.
Yes. Bring Your Own Avatar needs a 2–5 minute talking video, consent and a review by Creatify's team, and a custom avatar is visible only to its owner.
At 5 credits per 15 seconds, a 30-second Video Ad or Avatar Video uses 10 credits.
Generally no: payments are non-refundable except where law requires. Cancelling stops renewal, and your plan and credits last until the period ends.
