Vonvo is a web-based AI sales training platform for SDRs, account executives and the managers who coach them. Reps rehearse calls against AI prospects, upload real calls for scoring, and can run a live coaching panel on actual customer calls. The company's own pitch is simple: Vonvo helps sales teams practice cold calls with AI prospects, get instant feedback, and close more deals without risking real opportunities.
The service is run by Vonvo Pty Ltd, an Australian company, and its terms of service are governed by the laws of Australia. A startup directory entry that links back to vonvo.ai describes it the same way, as cold call practice with AI-generated prospects and instant feedback.
Two points shape most buying decisions:
All modes draw on the same credit balance. Phone-focused reps mainly use AI sales roleplay and cold call practice; video only matters for teams that sell on camera.
You upload a sales call and get analysis on technique, talk ratio, objection handling and areas for improvement, together with automatic transcription and framework scoring against NEPQ, SPIN and MEDDIC. The scorecard highlights key moments in the call.
Live coaching is the most distinctive feature and the one with the most consequences. It is Vonvo's form of live sales coaching on real calls. According to the vendor, it listens to a real call through the browser and shows contextual suggestions in a coaching panel on the rep's screen, "all without the prospect knowing." Vonvo captures audio from both sides of the conversation through your browser, prospect included. During the call it tracks NEPQ, SPIN, BANT and MEDDIC stages, raises alerts when a step is skipped, and surfaces objection prompts and buying-signal cues.
The assessment builder lets managers drag and drop sections into a candidate evaluation. Sections can mix video intros, AI roleplays, essays and knowledge tests, all graded automatically by AI. Candidates get a one-click start with no account needed, and hiring managers can compare results side by side.
Setup centers on a company profile. When you create your account, add your team, and configure your business profile, the AI learns your industry, products, and sales methodology; the scenarios and scoring then draw on that profile.
The enterprise page states that Vonvo supports 25+ languages for AI roleplay and analysis, including English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Mandarin and Korean, with more on request. The plan comparison does not say which languages self-serve plans get.
Vonvo's use-case pages map the product onto specific sales stages:
For larger rollouts the enterprise page describes discovery, custom configuration, a pilot and full rollout. A pilot team validates and refines the approach before the wider organization is onboarded.
A pattern runs through these examples. Roleplay is the entry point; live coaching, video and hiring are layered on as the plan grows. Outcome figures on these pages are vendor statements.
Vonvo fits best when:
It is a weaker fit for:
The service is for adults: the privacy notice says users represent that they are at least 18 or are the parent or guardian of such a minor. Anyone signing up on behalf of an employer also represents that they have authority to bind that organization to the terms. At the other end of the scale, the enterprise offer is designed for complex organisations with 1,000+ reps.
The pricing page lists five plans, all billed monthly:
| Plan | Price shown | Credits per month | Storage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trial | $0 | 250 | 250 MB |
| Starter | $49/mo | 2.5k | 1 GB |
| Professional | $199/mo | 5k | 2 GB |
| Growth | $399/mo | 15k | 10 GB |
| Enterprise | $749/mo | 50k | 50 GB |
The page shows a dollar sign but does not name the currency, which matters because the operator is Australian. A public plan-data endpoint used by the page returned the same five prices and credit amounts as captured on September 22, 2026. No annual price appears on the pricing page, although the terms say fees are charged in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
Time-based features like practice calls and roleplay consume 10 credits per minute. AI analysis and coaching are included at no extra cost with all paid plans. Extra credit top-ups can be bought at any time, and when you upgrade, the new credits are added to your existing balance immediately.
The pricing page lists Enterprise at $749/mo with 50k credits. The enterprise page instead ends with "Pricing on Request" and lists up to unlimited credits and storage, custom contract terms and a dedicated customer success manager.
Vonvo's own 2026 roundup of AI sales training tools ranks itself alongside Second Nature for AI roleplay, Gong and Chorus for analytics, Mindtickle and Allego for enterprise readiness, and Quantified for value. That list is written by Vonvo and is not a neutral comparison. An AI tool directory's "Alternative of Vonvo" list mostly shows AI sales assistants for outreach, such as LeadLabs, described as an AI tool for sales reps to personalize outreach based on prospect personality. Those tools solve a different problem than practice and coaching, so they are not like-for-like substitutes.
Live coaching records the prospect's side of a real conversation, and the vendor markets it as working without the prospect knowing. In the terms of service and privacy notice checked this round, no mention was found of how prospect consent is handled for live-call capture.
Usage numbers vary across Vonvo's own pages. The homepage says Vonvo is trusted by 500+ sales teams and elsewhere that 10,000+ sales professionals have been trained. The customer-stories page states 25,000+ sales reps trained. The enterprise page states 500+ enterprise customers. The homepage also shows a 4.9/5 satisfaction score based on 1,200+ reviews without naming the review platform. The customer-stories page shows vendor-published case studies credited to large brands, for example a Microsoft case claiming a 41% reduction in new hire time-to-productivity; in the sources checked this round, no independent report of these deployments was found. Security claims also differ in detail: the homepage says SOC 2 compliant, while the enterprise page claims SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 and GDPR, with independent audits and certification.
As captured on September 22, 2026, the review platforms checked either blocked automated access or had no Vonvo page, and no independent hands-on review or community discussion was found in the channels searched.
Practice calls and roleplay use 10 credits per minute, against monthly allowances from 250 credits (Trial) to 50k (Enterprise). AI analysis and coaching do not use extra credits on paid plans.
Vonvo says live coaching works without the prospect knowing. It captures audio from both sides of the call through the browser. The terms and privacy notice checked this round do not address prospect consent.
The official pages disagree. The terms say recordings and transcripts may be used to train AI models; the enterprise FAQ says conversation data is never used for training.
