What is Viblo?

Viblo is a browser-based AI video editor for short-form content, combining automatic clipping, AI voiceovers, captions, timeline editing and ready-to-post exports.

Viblo accepts footage, scripts, prompts or a combination of those inputs. It supports repurposing existing recordings as well as assembling narrated short-form video around written ideas.

Its subscriptions distinguish video creation allowances, credits and exports. The advertised export freedom coexists with limits on creating content.

Core features

Clipping, scenes and visual assets

  • Highlight detection: Viblo says it analyzes engagement signals to identify promising moments, then produces clips with pacing, captions and formatting for Shorts, Reels or TikTok.
  • Generated visuals: The AI Video Generator creates visual footage from prompts, while the AI Image Generator is presented for making thumbnails and other assets.
  • Transcription: The Video Transcriber converts video into scripts and captions.
  • Split-screen layouts: Viblo describes layouts that pair the main content with supplementary footage.

Narration and text tools

AI voiceover is integrated into the video timeline. Viblo describes generating narration there, creating captions alongside it, and adjusting timing, pacing and word emphasis without regenerating the whole track. The combined export includes voiceover, video and captions in the same project.

The AI Ideation Generator and Script Enhancer can generate a full script or refine existing ideas with writing assistance. The vendor describes script generation around trending topics and audience engagement.

Guide

Creating a Short from source footage

  1. Import the material. The published Shorts workflow accepts a direct footage upload or a YouTube, TikTok or Instagram link. The same workflow explicitly includes long-form video and podcasts as inputs and advertises no file-size limit for that import route.
  2. Review the selected material on the timeline. Viblo's Project Editor lets the creator trim, reorder and refine clips before export.
  3. Finish the vertical output. The Shorts workflow describes further trimming or swapping clips, then exporting at 1080x1920 resolution for YouTube mobile viewing.

Use cases for Viblo

  • Narrated educational and review videos: Viblo positions script-based, voiceover-driven and AI-generated formats for educational content, explainers and product reviews, including creators who prefer not to record themselves.
  • Ranked lists and comparisons: Video Ranking combines videos and places them in an ordered format for top lists and comparison content.
  • Repurposing recordings: Viblo presents podcast episodes and gameplay sessions as sources for multiple short-form clips. This starts with an existing recording, while an explainer can begin with written narration and generated assets.

Who is it for

Viblo describes its intended audience as beginners through professionals and says prior video-editing skills are not required. Automated assembly provides a starting edit, while the timeline allows deliberate changes.

The clipping workflow is also positioned for creators managing multiple channels and other high-output workflows. Plan differences concern creation volume, credits, modes and production features.

The product fits repeated short-video production from scripts or recordings, with generation and editing in the same browser workflow. Collaboration also involves the separate individual-license conditions described below.

Platforms

Viblo is delivered digitally through web login. Its delivery policy says access begins after successful payment or trial activation, with login instructions sent in a welcome email.

Viblo identifies TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Facebook as target platforms for its short-form output. Its privacy policy describes connected-account permissions separately:

  • YouTube: The disclosed permissions include uploading videos, managing videos and playlists, and viewing channel profile details. Viblo says Google user data is used for publishing services initiated by the user. Its stated sharing restriction allows disclosures needed for core functionality or required by law; users can request deletion of Google user data or revoke access through Google security settings.
  • TikTok: The application may request basic profile information and access for publishing, scheduling and managing content, subject to the permissions the user authorizes. Viblo says stored TikTok user data is deleted after access is revoked unless it must be retained by law.
  • Instagram: The application may request profile and, where applicable, business-account details, together with publishing, scheduling and content-management access. The policy describes deleting stored Instagram user data after revocation unless legal retention is required.

These deletion statements concern the named social-account data, rather than all projects or uploaded media stored in the workspace.

Pricing

Plans and included resources

The advertised plans below were captured on October 28, 2026. Prices are in USD unless otherwise stated by Viblo; subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically at the then-current rate until cancelled.

The captured pricing header also advertises a limited-time annual-plan promotion labeled “50% OFF.” The table shows the displayed charges without inferring a reference price or an expiry date for that offer.

Plan and billing choiceAdvertised chargeShort videosIncluded creditsListed video modes
Starter monthly$25/month30/month200 creditsFast, up to 60s

Creator annual$294/year90/month500/monthFast, Pro and Cinematic
Business annual$594/year200/month1,200/monthAll video modes

All listed tiers include AI Shorts creation, automatic captions and subtitles, a library advertised as 35+ ElevenLabs AI voices, and unlimited exports. Starter lists niche-specific templates and story/script-based Shorts. Creator adds Brand Kits, priority exports and faster rendering, multi-platform publishing, and story, commentary and gameplay formats. Business lists advanced Brand Kits, bulk creation, analytics and performance tracking, a priority rendering queue, and “Team Access + Commercial Usage Rights.”

The monthly cards label their credit amounts simply as credits; the annual cards explicitly label their credits per month. The table preserves that wording without inferring a cost per generation.

Subscription fees exclude taxes unless otherwise stated. The terms say applicable taxes may be collected, so the advertised plan amount and a final payment can differ for that reason.

Trial, renewals and credit purchases

Viblo advertises a seven-day free trial on its clipping landing page. The refund policy says the trial's duration and scope are specified at signup, that the trial itself is not charged, and that entering payment details authorizes an automatic subscription charge when it ends unless cancelled beforehand. Trial access is limited to one per person, household or payment method.

Additional credits, add-ons and plan upgrades are described as final and non-refundable purchases. Credits are non-transferable, have no cash value and do not roll over to the next billing period unless the subscription plan specifies otherwise. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades begin at the next billing period, without a pro-rata refund for the remaining current period.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation is available through the subscription or billing settings, or by email with the subject “Cancel Subscription” and the account email address. The policy says cancellation stops future renewal charges, normally leaves the current period unrefunded except under the initial guarantee or applicable consumer rights, and retains service access until that paid period ends. Afterward, the account becomes free or inactive and paid features are no longer available.

The initial money-back guarantee covers the first paid subscription purchase for 30 days. A request must be submitted in writing by email within 30 days of the first charge. The policy excludes renewal charges, upgrades, add-on purchases and credit top-ups from that guarantee, and describes refunds to the original payment method within 5–10 business days depending on the payment provider.

After the initial window, refunds are discretionary and limited to duplicate or erroneous charges, or a support-confirmed technical issue on Viblo’s side that prevented access to or use of the Services for a material portion of the billing period. The policy requires these requests within seven days of the charge in question, with the account email, issue description and supporting documentation. It excludes dissatisfaction with outcomes, a missed cancellation date, non-use and suspension or termination for a terms violation from this later-refund route.

For EU and UK consumers, the vendor's policy separately describes an initial 14-day withdrawal period with notice before it expires. It also says using immediately available digital services during that period constitutes consent to immediate performance and loss of that withdrawal right, while an unused service qualifies for a full refund. These are the vendor's stated conditions, rather than an independent conclusion about the legal enforceability of a particular refund decision.

Limitations

Output, results and account access

  • AI output needs review: The terms say generated material may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for its intended purpose. They place responsibility on the user to review, verify and edit it before publication, distribution or reliance, and to meet the destination platform's terms.
  • Audience results are not guaranteed: Viblo's terms explicitly decline guarantees of virality, views, engagement, income or business success.
  • Team access and individual licenses: Business plan cards advertise team access. The acceptable-use policy limits each subscription to one user and requires a separate license for multi-user access; it also prohibits sharing, reselling or assigning an account. The pricing and acceptable-use pages checked here do not specify how team seats are granted or how many licenses Business includes.
  • Usage remains subject to fair-use enforcement: The acceptable-use policy says excessive or abusive usage outside normal service levels may lead to temporary suspension or an upgrade requirement. It reserves usage monitoring for stability and abuse prevention, so the resource table is not the only stated access condition.

Ownership and permission to use content

Users retain ownership of their uploaded or created User Content, and Viblo says it does not claim ownership of that material.

Uploading or creating content grants Viblo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, technically modify and display it for operating, providing and improving the service. Technical modifications include format conversion, compression and rendering. The license continues while the content is stored. On deletion of content or an account, Viblo promises commercially reasonable removal efforts, while allowing cached or archived copies to persist for a limited period without specifying a fixed duration in that clause.

The terms require users to own their material or obtain the necessary rights, licenses, consents and permissions, and to avoid violating intellectual-property, privacy and publicity rights. They also prohibit sexually explicit or pornographic content and deceptive deepfakes.

Uploaded material and personal data

The privacy policy includes videos, images, audio files, scripts and transcripts uploaded to or created within the platform as processed user-generated content. It lists providing editing and generation features and improving the service as purposes, with hosting and AI-processing service providers as recipients.

Viblo says it does not sell or rent Personal Data. Its disclosure rules nevertheless permit necessary-function service providers, analytics partners, legal and regulatory recipients, business transfers and sharing with consent.

Retention depends on the category and purpose of the data. Account data is retained while the account is active; payment and billing records follow tax, accounting and legal requirements; usage logs support fraud detection, dispute resolution and platform improvement before deletion or anonymization. Marketing preferences are retained until consent is withdrawn or the user unsubscribes. The policy permits anonymous or aggregated information to remain where it no longer identifies a person; these examples do not specify a universal deletion deadline for workspace media.

The policy asks users not to upload special-category personal information, including health information, biometric data used to identify a person, political opinions and religious information.

Personal Data may be transferred to, stored in or processed in the United States or other countries where service providers operate. For relevant EEA, UK and Swiss transfers, Viblo describes safeguards such as standard contractual clauses and other recognized mechanisms.

For EEA and UK users, the policy describes requests for access, correction, erasure subject to legal exceptions, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent, as well as complaints to a supervisory authority. It directs requests to support and states a response within 30 days.

FAQ

Q1. What is the minimum age for using Viblo?

The terms require users to be at least 16. Users under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian's permission, with that adult having read and agreed to the terms on their behalf.

Q2. Can the subscription price change?

Yes. The terms reserve the right to change prices and promise at least 30 days of advance notice before a new price takes effect for a current plan. Continued use after a change is described as acceptance of the new pricing.

Q3. What happens if a subscription payment fails?

Viblo may retry the charge or suspend paid-feature access until payment succeeds. The terms make the subscriber responsible for keeping a valid payment method with sufficient funds.
