Instead of asking you to pick a layout first, Tarotap has you describe your situation, and the AI decides whether a 3-card timeline, a 7-card layout or a relationship spread fits the question. Running a standard reading

1. Write the question. The question box has a length cap that depends on the plan: 300 characters on Free, 800 on Plus and 1,500 on Pro.
2. Make it concrete. Tarotap's own guidance calls questions such as "what am I doing with my life?" too broad to land anywhere useful and says specific is better, for instance naming two job offers and asking which fits your goals.
3. Draw and read. Let the AI choose the spread, draw the cards, then pick Quick Reading or Deep Insight.
4. Continue the conversation. Ask follow-ups within your plan's allowance instead of starting over.
5. Review later. In the Android app, every tarot reading is saved to your history, and you can favorite readings to look back on how things unfolded.

Tarotap also discourages asking the same question twice: its guidance is to wait until something has actually shifted in your situation before coming back for a fresh reading.

Running a client session in Studio

1. Capture the questions. Paste or dictate what the client says as text, screenshots or voice, and Studio breaks it into an editable question list.
2. Log the cards. Say the card names aloud, type them, or pick them from the built-in library.
3. Read and follow up. Insights stream in real time, a follow-up can be added directly under the current card set, and once every question is solved the session can be woven into one closing narrative with a click.
4. Return to a session. Every Studio reading gets a unique link, and past sessions stay in the sidebar for review or follow-up.

Tarotap has a Free tier and two paid plans, Plus and Pro. The pricing page offers Monthly and Yearly billing, labels Yearly with −17%, and states that you can cancel anytime and that payments are secured by Stripe. The captured default view showed only yearly prices in USD, $129.90 a year for Plus and $999.90 a year for Pro; monthly prices were not displayed in that view.

On Free, the plan comparison allows one AI tarot reading a day and a single manifestation goal, while both paid plans make readings unlimited. Pentacles, which grow from 5 a day on Free to 50 on Plus and 500 on Pro, are spent on Raven chats, which give personalized oracle card blessings. Studio is exclusive to Plus and Pro members and also draws on Pentacles, which reset daily. Outside the table, Plus adds conversation memory, and Pro adds a Year Ahead reading every month on top of everything in Plus.

Billing rules

• Cancellation: you can cancel anytime, and member benefits stay active until the end of the current subscription period.
• Price lock: Tarotap says price changes do not affect existing members who keep their subscription uninterrupted; cancelling and resubscribing later means paying the new price.
• Plan switches: changes take effect immediately and the difference is prorated automatically.
• Card data: card payments go through Stripe, and Tarotap says it never stores or has access to card details.

Refunds and conflicting plan descriptions

The refund policy allows a refund when you have not used any Premium features (premium readings, custom spreads or exclusive content) within 7 days of purchase, and it lists technical failures, unauthorized charges and duplicate charges as other grounds. It also lists a Quarterly plan billed every 3 months next to monthly and yearly plans, while the pricing page captured on September 28, 2026 showed only Monthly and Yearly options. Separately, the refund paragraph in the terms reads "All sales are final" and says refunds for iOS purchases are handled by Apple. For EU buyers, the refund policy mentions a 14-day right of withdrawal that is forfeited once you begin using digital services. The official pages do not reconcile these documents.

• No accuracy guarantee in the terms: readings are described as not guaranteed to be accurate or predictive of future events.
• Conflicting marketing copy: the yes-or-no page is headlined "Accurate 100 Percent" and says the company aims for accurate 100 percent results, while also noting that tarot shows possibilities, not certainties.
• Refused topics: the AI tarot will not answer questions tied to life safety, serious medical diagnoses, legal disputes or specific financial decisions.
