Tad AI is an online music creation platform that combines music synthesis, text to speech and audio editing. Its AI music generator works with text ideas, custom lyrics and reference audio, while related tools handle covers, separated stems and music videos.
The service has free credits and paid subscriptions, with different rights attached to the audio they produce. Tad AI's commercial-license marketing therefore sits alongside explicit input restrictions and an originality disclaimer in its terms.
Tad AI describes the resulting music as original and customizable; its contractual position on originality is more limited, as set out under Limitations.
The AI cover generator offers description-led Smart mode and Custom mode with Reference and Remix controls. A song, melody or instrumental can guide a cover, and a unique voice model can be created and applied to the project.
The cover uploader lists MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A, FLAC and AAC files up to 200MB. It also displays an instruction to use original audio to avoid failures involving copyrighted songs.
Reference audio can be uploaded locally, selected from the Tad AI library or supplied through links from TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
The company's descriptions of seamless blending and preservation of melody are performance claims.
The stem splitter is described as detecting vocals, bass, drums and melodic synths, with local files or links as inputs and WAV or ZIP export for separated tracks. The published examples name possible stems, rather than establishing that every recording contains all of them.
Vocal Remover has a narrower stated output: it separates human vocals and instrumental layers into two audio tracks. That two-part separation is distinct from the stem splitter's multi-element detection.
Tad AI's text to speech tool supports over 50 languages, with voice filtering by style and tone, output-language selection and a stability control.
For visuals, Tad AI offers three named music-video formats:
The company says cover videos usually take a few minutes, while more complex story videos typically take 5 to 10 minutes, depending on mode and audio length. These are vendor timing estimates.
The captured video interface offers 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4 and 9:16 aspect ratios, together with 720P and 1080P resolution choices. Those controls concern the visual output and sit alongside scene and generation settings. The available screen choices are recorded without implying that every video mode, plan or source length supports an identical combination.
The audio editor provides a specific choice between changing part of a recording and reworking the whole track. Its documented sequence is:
Section replacement supplies a new passage within a recording; remastering changes the treatment of the complete track. The workflow generates replacement vocals without a separate recording session.
Tad AI is positioned for filmmakers creating cinematic orchestral soundtracks or tense atmospheric drones. Its song generator supplies music, while the separate video tools supply visual treatments for an audio track.
These are intended applications described by the vendor. Commercial use depends on the plan, and third-party inputs remain subject to authorization requirements.
Tad AI positions generated speech for vocal hooks and spoken-word intros in music, and for different characters in scripts and stories.
The speech tool takes text and voice settings; the music generator combines lyrics with musical guidance. The available tasks do not establish permission to reproduce a real performer's voice.
The plan boundary matters for creators whose work is intended for sale, distribution or monetization, because free audio is restricted to personal use.
The pricing page offers Monthly and Yearly selectors; the captured public HTML has Yearly selected with a 20% OFF label. As captured on October 29, 2026, the displayed base cards were:
| Plan | Displayed price in the captured Yearly state | Credits shown | Song and cover maxima shown | Concurrent music generations |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0.00/month | 21 credits | Up to 2 songs; up to 2 AI covers | Up to 1 |
| Standard | $7.99/month | 500 credits/month | Up to 50 songs; up to 50 AI covers | Up to 3 |
| Pro | $23.99/month | 2,000 credits/month | Up to 200 songs; up to 200 AI covers | Up to 6 |
The table records the displayed cards and their separate maxima. It does not add the song and cover allowances together into an extra combined entitlement. The Free card states a credit amount without the paid cards' per-month label. A monthly-billed price and the full annual checkout total are not established by this displayed state.
The paid cards list premium voice models, advanced audio editing, reference-audio uploads, AI lyric enhancement and professional style prompts generated by AI. Several features also appear as text in the Free card's comparison list, where visual status icons carry part of the meaning; those rows are not treated here as proof that every listed capability is included for free.
Free-plan audio is for personal, non-commercial use and may not be sold, distributed or used for profit. Paid users receive permission to sell, distribute or otherwise monetize audio created through the service.
The cover generator markets a downloadable commercial license for paid users and says covers can then be used on streaming platforms without worry. This is the vendor's licensing statement; the terms still prohibit unlicensed covers and unauthorized samples. It is not presented as independent verification that the underlying song, lyrics or recording has been cleared.
Paid-plan music videos may be used for commercial projects, monetization and online advertising, while the video documentation explicitly requires ownership or appropriate licenses for uploaded audio.
Subscription refunds require a request within 3 days of purchase and no more than 50 subscription credits used; add-on credits are not refundable. The time window and usage ceiling apply together.
Refund requests go to support with account details, purchase date and a reason, and applicable refunds use the original payment method. The policy describes review of the request rather than promising an unconditional refund or an exact processing deadline.
Subscriptions renew automatically, and cancellation must happen in advance, either manually or through support; a new renewal charge may be non-refundable.
Tad AI's terms prohibit music, lyrics or media that the user neither owns nor has explicit legal permission to use, including unauthorized samples and covers without proper licensing. Reference uploads, source links, voice models and editing features operate within that restriction; the availability of an input method is not a grant of rights over the source.
The About text guarantees that paid-plan songs are entirely original and copyright-free. The terms expressly decline to guarantee absolute originality or freedom from similarity to existing works. These are conflicting vendor statements. The terms also place potential infringement risks and responsibility for checking a generated work's uniqueness and legal standing on the user before distribution or commercial use.
The commercial-license message coexists with an express originality disclaimer and input-rights requirements.
The terms also prohibit pornography and sexually explicit material, sensitive personal information, hateful content, harassment, malicious files and repetitive automated inputs.
These boundaries belong to particular tools; song-generation concurrency does not establish the number of simultaneous video or speech jobs.
The privacy policy says inputs transmitted to designated AI providers include text prompts, commands, style descriptions, uploaded audio and uploaded images. Its provider descriptions assign different parts of the creation process to different services:
The policy limits third-party use to the requested AI generation service and says sensitive personally identifiable information is withheld, with anonymization where technically feasible. It also says the named providers are contractually required to offer equivalent data protection. These are the vendor's data-use and contractual statements; they do not show which provider processes an individual request or independently verify provider behavior.
The stated purpose restriction concerns the named third-party providers. It is not presented as a separate, comprehensive statement about Tad AI's own model-training practices or a fixed deletion schedule for all uploaded creative files.
The terms allow Tad AI to restrict, suspend or terminate access without prior notice or liability for a breach of the agreement or third-party copyright rights. They also disclaim a guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or free from errors, viruses and other harmful components. This is the published service boundary alongside the feature and generation-speed claims; the vendor does not make those claims an unconditional continuity guarantee.
Personal data may include email, name, address and usage data; automatically collected usage data can include IP addresses, browser details, visited pages, visit times and device identifiers. The policy also describes collection of device and browser information when the service is accessed from a mobile device.
Personal information is retained as necessary for stated purposes, legal obligations, resolving disputes and enforcing agreements. Usage data is retained for internal analysis and generally for a shorter time, with longer retention for security, service functionality or legal requirements. This is a purpose-based retention description, rather than a published number of days for every data type.
Personal information may be processed at the company's offices and other locations where processing parties operate, including computers outside the user's jurisdiction. The policy says transfers require adequate controls, including data security. Its geographical language therefore describes possible international processing rather than a promise that all creative material stays in one country.
Users can refuse cookies with possible effects on functionality, contact the company to opt out of personalized advertising, and request account deactivation by email. The published account option is described as deactivation; it is not an explicit promise that every uploaded file, log and backup is immediately erased.
