Syft Analytics is cloud financial reporting software that sits on top of an accounting ledger such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage and turns that data into dashboards, management reports, consolidations and forecasts. Syft describes itself as providing integrated financial analytical tools and reporting solutions to business customers.
The product is aimed at two groups at once: accounting and bookkeeping practices that report to many clients, and businesses that want their own finance team to analyze performance without rebuilding reports in spreadsheets every month.
Syft is part of the Xero group. The terms of use, last updated on 09/07/2025, state that in September 2024 it was announced that Syft is joining the Xero group of companies. The subprocessor page lists Xero Limited and other Xero entities as members of the same group as Syft. When the acquisition was announced, Syft said Xero planned to keep Syft available as a standalone offering for small businesses and their accountants and bookkeepers, which is why it still connects to ledgers other than Xero.
Syft's consolidation software handles group structures rather than just adding entities together. Consolidations account for ownership proportions, including acquisitions and disposals. Consolidations support over 170 currencies. Entities can be consolidated within a single system or across multiple systems, which matters for groups whose subsidiaries do not all run the same accounting software.
Reports work with Spreadsheet Link for Excel and Google Sheets, so a spreadsheet model can draw on Syft report data. For year-end work, the Financial Statements feature is presented as aligned with IFRS and GAAP standards. Disclosures start either from a template library of 30+ pre-built notes or from scratch. Financial Statements are available on the Plus and Advanced plans, not on Standard.
A typical first setup in Syft follows the order below.
The documented use cases cluster around recurring finance reporting where the same ledger data has to be presented to different audiences.
Most of Syft's value depends on which systems it can read.
For Xero reporting specifically, Syft reads the ledger Xero users already maintain and can combine it with entities from other systems in one consolidation.
The Android app's Google Play description says it tracks performance on the go with daily, weekly and monthly dashboards. The Android app on Google Play showed 1K+ downloads as captured on September 28, 2026. The same Google Play listing showed a last update on Oct 3, 2023.
Syft publishes plan prices, but the visible cards show only one billing view. The pricing page's default view shows prices in USD.
| Plan | Listed price (default USD view) | How the pricing page describes it |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | Free | Unlimited users, dashboards and graphs, access to Syft Campus |
| Standard | $23/mo | Visualize financial performance and create reports |
| Plus | $47/mo | Deeper insights, more report customization and multi-currency support |
| Advanced | $95/mo | Financial and operational insights, advanced consolidations, tailored onboarding |
| More than 10 entities | Contact sales | Not listed |
The $23, $47 and $95 figures are the monthly amounts shown in the default view on September 28, 2026; annual prices were not displayed in that view. The pricing page offers a 14-day free trial on any plan. Organizations with more than 10 entities are asked to contact Syft rather than choose a listed plan.
Syft's own pages describe multi-entity billing in two different ways. The consolidations page advertises fixed pricing that does not go up as more entities are added. The same page's FAQ says users can choose to be billed per entity in the consolidation or take an unlimited entity option. Both statements were live on September 28, 2026, and neither page resolves the difference.
A software directory lists Jirav, Reach Reporting and Spotlight Reporting as the top competitors of Syft Analytics, and Joiin sits in the same multi-entity reporting category. They differ mainly in how they charge and how far they go into planning.
Against these, the Syft-specific factors documented on this page are its free Basic tier, its Xero group ownership, its data review tools and the mixed messages on how multi-entity groups are billed.
Syft does not replace an accountant's judgment. The terms state that Syft is not in the business of giving any kind of professional advice. Users remain responsible for verifying the accuracy of any information taken from Syft for legal, tax and compliance obligations.
Once a subscription is terminated, it is archived and the data submitted or created in it is no longer available to the user. A terminated subscription may also continue to receive some data from third-party sources for a limited time; the terms ask users to disconnect data connections before terminating if they do not want this.
The privacy policy was last updated on 26 May 2026. It does not cover personal data Syft processes as a data processor on behalf of its clients. Neither the privacy policy nor the security center, as checked on September 28, 2026, states whether customer data is used to train AI models.
