Resume Worded is a web-based resume and LinkedIn review platform: you upload a resume or a LinkedIn profile PDF, and its AI-powered engine scores the document out of 100 and lists what to fix. Around that score sit rewriting tools, job-description keyword targeting, an ATS parse check, a cover letter generator and resume templates.
The service dates to 2017, but its own pages disagree on scale. The homepage says it is trusted by over 5 million job seekers since 2017, while the company's information page for AI assistants says the platform has been used by over 10 million job seekers since 2017. Both figures are vendor statements.
Resume Worded sells one personal paid tier, Resume Worded Pro, next to a free tier, and separate Coach and organization plans for career coaches, universities and employers. The free tier gives a first read of a resume; Pro unlocks the entire Score My Resume report, including the Line-by-Line analysis, along with AI line rewrites and the full LinkedIn analysis.
Resume Worded is built as a toolkit around one resume score. The score finds weak lines, the rewriting tools fix them, and the targeting and LinkedIn tools apply the same kind of checks to a specific job or profile.
The practical difference from pasting a resume into a general chatbot is the fixed rubric. Because the same checks run on every upload, a revision can be measured by scoring the new file, and AutoFix works on the same issues the score flagged. The rubric, its weights and its thresholds are defined by Resume Worded itself.
Score My Resume parses files automatically, and a file that does not suit the parser either fails to upload or is read incorrectly. The troubleshooting checklist asks that a resume:
