Nova is a multi-model AI chatbot for conversation and writing, with search, file, voice and creative tools advertised across mobile and web. The US iOS seller is SCALEUP YAZILIM HIZMETLERI ANONIM SIRKETI.
Nova says it uses official APIs from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini and xAI, without affiliation or endorsement by those providers.
Mobile PRO and web Free, Pro and forthcoming Max have different public prices and conditions. The terms also restrict commercial and critical uses.
The web workspace advertises GPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok within one account with shared context. Nova says switching models mid-conversation retains the existing context.
The mobile description advertises communication in more than 140 languages, hands-free voice mode, and Word, Excel and other files. The language claim concerns AI communication, rather than the interface-language count.
Image generation is advertised on mobile too. Mobile PRO has a stated image-credit allocation; web plans also impose usage limits.
To continue a Nova mobile account in a browser:
The help center says the same account carries the app's models, features and active Nova PRO access to web. That account condition does not reconcile the different public prices.
Nova is positioned as an AI writing assistant for essays, compositions, social media posts and poems. Its proofreading function analyzes existing writing and offers document suggestions.
Nova advertises homework help with essays, compositions and math questions, plus open-ended conversation and book or film recommendations.
These writing and study uses remain subject to Nova's output-accuracy limitations.
The mobile description targets students, professionals, creators and teams, while the terms set narrower permitted-use boundaries.
The privacy policy says Nova does not address under-16s or knowingly collect their identifiable data, and takes steps to remove such data from its servers if it becomes aware it collected the data without verified parental consent. The US iOS store's separate 9+ content rating does not replace that policy age scope.
Nova is available through web, the Apple App Store and Google Play. Apple-device compatibility and dedicated desktop downloads have separate conditions.
| Entry point | Published availability and conditions |
|---|---|
| Web | Browser access; the help center documents account sign-in and same-account PRO access. |
| iPhone and iPad | The US store requires iOS 15 or iPadOS 15 or later. |
| Mac via the listed Apple app | macOS 12.0 or later and an Apple M1 chip or later. The listing also labels the app as designed for iPad and not verified for macOS. |
| Apple Vision | The US store lists visionOS 1.0 or later. |
| Android | A Google Play listing is available under ScaleUp. |
| Dedicated desktop downloads | The download page marks both macOS and Windows as Coming Soon. |
The main site still advertises iOS 14+, versus iOS 15+ in the US listing and lookup. An iPad app's Mac compatibility also differs from a dedicated desktop app marked Coming Soon.
The main site's platform list includes Apple Watch, without establishing feature parity with phone or desktop.
Public web prices captured on November 2, 2026 UTC exclude applicable tax; usage limits apply.
| Web plan | Displayed price | Published access conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Limited access to GPT-5.6 Luna, limited messages and basic web search. |
| Pro | One-week trial for $1.99, then $29.99 billed monthly | Premium model access, higher message and file-upload limits, image creation with 10+ AI image models, and advanced workspace tools. |
| Max | From $69.99 per person, billed monthly | Coming Soon. Advertises up to 10 times Pro's usage limits, with unlimited basic-model usage and file uploads subject to abuse guardrails. |
Pro lists chat with images, PDFs and Excel files; advanced web search; Deep Research and Agent Mode; memory and context; projects; Canvas; custom tools; and early feature access. Message and upload limits are described as higher, without a numerical allowance.
Max also advertises higher-volume image generation, peak-time priority and higher research, memory and output limits. Its unlimited wording covers the named resources under abuse guardrails; it is marked Coming Soon.
The help center says new users receive free credits for basic chatting and exploration without payment. PRO lists 2,000 image-generation credits, PDF/URL summaries, AI web search and premium tools, without stating a replenishment period for those credits.
| Help-center option | Published price | Trial and billing conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly PRO | $7.99 per week | Three-day free trial for new users; renews automatically. |
| Annual PRO | $39.99 per year | Available when the free-trial toggle is turned off; renews automatically. |
Cancellation retains access to period end. The main subscriptions notice separately advertises weekly and monthly plans with three-day trials and a discounted annual option, priced in-app. Those options differ from the help article and the paid one-week web trial.
The US iOS storefront displayed these in-app purchase labels:
| Store product label | Displayed US storefront amounts |
|---|---|
| 1 Week Chatbot Pro | $4.99, $6.99 and $7.99 |
| 1 Year Chatbot Pro | $39.99 and $59.99 |
| 1 Month Chatbot OpenAI Subs | $9.99 |
| Nova Premium Subscription | $9.99; the label does not state a billing period. |
The list includes repeated weekly labels and does not identify a selected checkout offer. Store prices may vary by country. The OpenAI product label does not establish affiliation.
Mobile payment is charged to the iTunes or Google Play account at purchase confirmation. Renewal is automatic unless disabled at least 24 hours before period end, with renewal charged in the preceding 24 hours. Purchasing forfeits unused trial time where applicable.
Cancellation follows the original purchase channel:
Google and Apple handle their respective store purchases and refund requests. Nova reviews web purchases and website trials at its discretion, subject to applicable law and its refund rules. The general terms call in-app purchases non-refundable and refer to the refund policy; the help center separately routes store refund requests to Apple or Google.
Website purchases are generally non-refundable and non-exchangeable, with a baseline exception for fewer than 20 messages and a request within three days of purchase, during the active subscription. Regional clauses specify:
The generic denial clause says more than 20 messages or after three days, alongside the longer regional windows and stronger-local-law exception. “Fewer than 20” and “more than 20” do not expressly resolve exactly 20 messages.
Persistent defects solely attributable to Nova may qualify where consumer law requires, with screenshots or error logs. This provision excludes user-side connection problems, device incompatibility and outdated software.
Web requests go to support by email within the current subscription. Prior periods are non-refundable unless law requires; company records determine eligibility. Chargebacks may trigger immediate suspension or termination at Nova's discretion. Policy changes affect future purchases or renewals only.
ChatGPT and Claude document overlapping uses, with separate product experiences:
| Alternative | Documented overlap with Nova |
|---|---|
| ChatGPT | Everyday questions, concept explanations, draft messaging, web search, image generation and comparing options. |
| Claude | Work tasks and editable documents, spreadsheets and slides. |
Nova's distinction is its advertised multi-provider interface and context-preserving model changes. Overlapping tasks do not establish equal quotas, quality, privacy terms or licensing.
Nova's terms say output may be incomplete, inaccurate or non-unique and is not factual, professional or comprehensive advice. Users must not submit copyrighted, confidential or sensitive material. Commercial, medical, legal and other critical uses are expressly prohibited despite work-oriented marketing.
An Italian consumer-protection case concerning Nova and ScaleUp closed with binding commitments and no finding of infringement. The commitments concerned hallucination warnings and clearer model-access disclosures, rather than a measured accuracy certification.
The app-use license is limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable; selling, renting, hosting, commercial exploitation and reverse engineering are prohibited. Third-party services follow their providers' terms at the user's risk, with Nova disclaiming accuracy, completeness and copyright compliance. On Nova's terms page, the definition of ‘Website’ identifies Nova's site but leaves the URL blank.
App feedback and suggestions become Nova's property without compensation or credit. A separate clause treats submitted ideas, designs, photographs, information, advertisements, data and proposals as non-confidential, non-proprietary and Nova's property, with perpetual use of their ideas. These stated categories do not establish a general commercial license for generated output.
The terms describe public-figure-inspired fictional assistant entities and disclaim representation of, connection with or endorsement by real individuals. Separately, anyone using a person’s likeness or voice should check the relevant rights and permissions; the disclaimer alone does not establish them.
Depending on model or feature, prompts, messages, files and images may go to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, Deepseek, Mistral or xAI solely for requested outputs. Nova says OpenAI processes voice in real time solely for voice conversations.
The web comparison labels data use for training “Never” and end-to-end encryption “Yes.” These are vendor claims, alongside the policy's external processing, sharing and retention disclosures; no independent technical verification is established here.
The privacy policy lists identity/account, contact, device/traffic, purchase/subscription and marketing data. Sharing covers hosting, payment, support, analytics, business and advertising partners, including personalized-ad tracking. Good-faith disclosures may cover legal processes, national security, safety, contracts, debts and investigations, with transfers involving overseas clouds.
The main privacy policy says conversation and personal data may be kept up to six years unless the account is deleted, then no longer than 60 days. Its deletion clause separately excepts legally required retention.
The help center instead describes deletion within 30 days, except legal, regulatory, security or fraud-prevention retention. Deletion is permanent: chats, files, generated content, preferences and account information become inaccessible, and all devices are signed out. The published 30- and 60-day windows differ.
Nova says it does not sell personal information but permits the described sharing. Marketing sharing can be stopped in Account Settings or through support. The California section describes applicable access, deletion and equal-service rights.
Warranty disclaimers cover uninterrupted/error-free operation, compatibility and non-infringement. The terms preserve jurisdictional exceptions where warranty exclusions, statutory consumer-right restrictions or incidental/consequential damage exclusions are not permitted.
The web workspace advertises importing existing ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini conversations, without specifying export formats or import limits in that statement.
Deletion and cancellation are separate actions. Subscriptions may keep renewing unless canceled through the App Store, Google Play or the billing website.
Additional packages expire with the main subscription and follow its refund criteria. Purchasable playbooks are non-refundable and for individual use only.
