Let's Enhance (also written LetsEnhance) is an online AI image upscaler and AI photo enhancer that enhances, enlarges and fixes images, and it works on photos, AI art, logos and scanned images. The service runs under the name LetsEnhance, Inc. Press coverage dates the launch of its online tool to the end of October 2017.
It has a sibling product with a different job. LetsEnhance.io is the original web tool for enhancing and upscaling images, while Claid.ai is the company's broader AI image editing and generation platform, with its own web interface and the developer API.
Processing is metered in credits that grow with output size, every plan caps output resolution, and the official pages quote different caps for the same plans.
Model choice changes the look of the result and, for Ultra, the credit cost.
| Model | Intended input |
|---|---|
| Prime | Default for most images: portraits, products, textures |
| Gentle | Images with small text or fine details to preserve |
| Balanced | Heavy JPEG compression, low megapixels, blur or noise |
| Strong | Motion blur, heavy noise or serious compression artifacts |
| Ultra | Two tunable settings: Intensity and Size of Changes |
| Digital Art | Non-photographic content |
| Old Photo | Scratches, tears, fading and discolouration in aged photos |
For Ultra, the vendor's own guidance is to keep Intensity low, around 10–30%, to avoid a plastic look. When the right model is unclear, Try All runs one image through several models for a side-by-side comparison, and it costs more credits than a single run.
Video resolution is described inconsistently. One official help article says clips are generated at 720p and can be upscaled to 4K with the separate Video Upscaler for additional credits. The Image to Video product page says the video is generated in 1080p resolution and MP4 format.
Because Old Photo output is small, the recommended workflow has two passes: run Old Photo first to restore and repair, then download, re-upload and apply Prime at 4x to get the resolution back up.
The pipeline example runs through the API on Claid.ai, which is priced separately from the web plans.
Less suited:
| Plan | Price | Credits | Max stored credits | Upscale cap (plan card) | Storage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Free, no credit card | 10 on sign-up | — | 8 MP | 6 months |
| Starter | $9/month billed annually or $12/month billed monthly | 100 per month | 600 | 256 MP | 3 months |
| Pro | $24/month billed annually or $32/month billed monthly | 300 per month | 1,800 | 350 MP | 6 months |
| Max | $34/month billed annually or $45/month billed monthly | 500 per month | 3,000 | 512 MP | 6 months |
The free plan card also lists an input limit of 24 megapixels or 50MB and a watermark that is removed for paid users. After a subscription or bundle purchase, images enhanced with free credits can be downloaded again without the watermark.
The plan page equates 1 image with 1 credit. Ultra, however, charges by output size: up to 8MP costs 1 credit, up to 32MP 4 credits, up to 128MP 8 credits and up to 512MP 10 credits. Tone Enhance, Colour Enhance and Background Removal each add to the base credit cost of a job.
Unused credits accumulate only on the personal plans (100, 300 and 500 credits), up to the stored maximum in the table, and cancelling forfeits whatever remains at the end of the paid period. Membership benefits such as higher input size limits and watermark-free downloads also end with that billing period. Business plans of 1000, 2500 and 5000 credits also exist, and their unused credits do not accumulate. Pay-as-you-go bundle and business-plan prices were not displayed in the pricing pages checked for this review.
Pay-as-you-go credits come as a one-time purchase and never expire; they cost slightly more per credit than subscription credits, and subscription credits are spent first when an account holds both.
A full refund is available within 24 hours of purchase; outside that window, refunds apply only to an open billing period. Subscriptions can be paused for up to 3 months at a time, once every 6 months, with no charges during the pause; existing credits stay usable, and the plan resumes automatically after an email 2 days beforehand. Payment is accepted by credit card or PayPal.
API access is billed separately on Claid.ai: the self-serve API starts at $59 for 1,000 credits as a one-time purchase and scales to 5,000 credits per month on subscription, with 50 free API credits to try it. Higher volumes move to custom enterprise contracts with volume pricing, dedicated support and SLAs. Web-app users who need more images or higher resolution than any plan allows are directed to hello@letsenhance.io.
The main trade-off is where processing happens and how it is billed. Let's Enhance processes every job in the cloud and meters it in credits that scale with output size. Topaz Gigapixel plans include unlimited cloud and local rendering on all images with no additional cost, so heavy users pay a flat plan instead of per-image credits, and confidential files can stay on local hardware.
The size limits differ between official pages. The plan cards list upscale caps of 8 MP (Free), 256 MP (Starter), 350 MP (Pro) and 512 MP (Max). The pricing FAQ says input images on all plans can be up to 64 megapixels or 50 MB, outputs can reach 256 megapixels on personal plans and 500 megapixels on business plans, and background removal is limited to 16 megapixels for both input and output. The upscaler page says free accounts upscale to 64 MP and paid plans reach 512 MP. The business API page quotes upscaling up to 559 MP.
In a December 2017 hands-on, a technology reporter found that neither upscaled print was gift quality and concluded that the AI is no substitute for a full-resolution original; the test reflects the product as it was then.
As captured on October 2, 2026, a consumer review platform showed a 4.1 company rating from 186 reviews, with 81% five-star and 11% one-star ratings. The same profile noted that the company had not invited customers recently, so the reviews may not be representative, and that it had not replied to negative reviews.
New accounts get 10 free credits without a credit card. Free downloads carry a watermark, and the free plan card caps upscaling at 8 megapixels, although the upscaler page quotes 64 MP for free accounts.
It depends on the plan and on which page is read. The Max plan card lists 512 megapixels, the pricing FAQ says 256 megapixels on personal plans and 500 on business plans, and Old Photo and background removal have far lower limits of about 1MP and 16 megapixels.
The Terms say users own the content they submit and LetsEnhance claims no ownership over it, while granting LetsEnhance a broad license. Generated text-to-image Artworks belong to the user to the extent allowed by law, with commercial use at the user's own risk.
A full refund is available within 24 hours of purchase. After that, refunds are limited to the current open billing period, and closed periods are not refunded.
Yes, through Claid.ai. Self-serve API pricing starts at $59 for 1,000 credits, and new API accounts get 50 free credits for testing.
