Futurepedia combines an AI tool directory with practical education, role-based guidance, and video content for people adopting AI at work. Its discovery service organizes other companies' software, while its learning service teaches how to use those products in real tasks. The company describes the wider ecosystem as AI discovery, practical learning, and video education for professionals.
Catalog entries describe the listed vendors' products. Futurepedia supplies the discovery and learning layer: tool selection, relevant combinations, workflows, and Skill Leap courses. A course about podcasts in NotebookLM teaches that application; it does not make Futurepedia a native podcast generator.
Futurepedia also provides a workspace with tool stacks, playbooks, and adoption progress. Free discovery, introductory education, paid learning, and vendor listing services have different access conditions.
Skill Leap membership is described as a library of AI courses, access to new courses each month, tutorials on current tools, downloadable study guides and prompt lists, and a private learning community. Lesson access and access to the application demonstrated remain separate matters.
Futurepedia's video education covers agents and automation through its Futurepedia channel, while Skill Leap AI covers tool reviews, comparisons, implementation guides, and business examples.
Futurepedia says AI assists its editorial process but people make the decisions, with articles and reviews created or reviewed by people who understand using the tools in work. This is the publisher's account of its process, rather than independent validation of each vendor promise.
Futurepedia describes a personalized toolkit and action plan based on a person's role, goals, and constraints, with the plan advertised as ready in under three minutes. Its planning inputs cover role, goals such as lead generation or content, and constraints such as budget, comfort level, and team size. The resulting plan is described as tools, workflows, and first steps. The time is a vendor estimate for planning, not implementation.
Skill Leap has a separate educational route: an AI assessment for a personalized learning path, a course library, and self-paced study. The assessment concerns learning; the work plan concerns tool and workflow selection.
The AI-powered digital marketing course teaches blog posts, social content, email campaigns, ad copy and visuals, audience research, and daily-workflow automation. The instruction connects content production, research, and operations through external products.
Practice requires access to free or low-cost applications such as ChatGPT and Canva. Coding is not required, and basic marketing familiarity is helpful but optional. This external-tool requirement is separate from the course membership.
The Google NotebookLM course teaches importing PDFs, YouTube links, and audio, structuring notebooks, and creating notes, summaries, study guides, podcasts, and timelines in NotebookLM. The subject is operating NotebookLM for research and knowledge management, rather than storing and processing those files within Futurepedia.
The course also demonstrates combining NotebookLM with research, visual, translation, editing, and presentation tools.
AI Risk Management covers confidentiality, integrity, and availability; leaks, hallucinations, bias, and deepfakes; vendor dependencies; and the autonomy of agents. Its learning objectives also include human review, rollback plans, and escalation paths. It teaches controls rather than supplying a security-monitoring service.
The following learning offers were displayed on October 28, 2026. The prices retain the website's $ symbol; the pricing card does not name a currency code. The displayed monthly offer is not an annual-billing calculation. The monthly Full Access offer carries a limited-time label.
| Learning offer | Displayed price | Included scope | Access condition |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter Access | $0 forever | 14-Day AI Boot Camp and Prompting Essentials; 37 video lessons, downloadable workbooks, and a certificate | Described as having no trial timer or surprise charges |
| Monthly All Access | $29.99 per month, with $39.99 also displayed as a comparison price | The card lists 30+ courses, 1000+ videos, 50+ guides, 5500+ prompts, a private community, and new content each week | Seven-day free trial; advertised rate retained while membership continues |
A no-cost trial upgrades to a monthly recurring subscription at the fees detailed in the trial unless it is canceled in account settings before it ends. For recurring services, the term begins on the online subscription date and runs for the duration selected at checkout. Renewal is automatic unless canceled in account settings before the renewal date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, stops further recurring charges, and ends paid access.
Renewal disputes have a specific process: support must be contacted within seven calendar days of the renewal date with account details, the charge date, and the reason for the dispute. Eligibility is reviewed rather than guaranteed. The terms allow refusal where the policy is being exploited, including repeated requests in a short period. Approved refunds are processed in five to seven business days, depending on the bank or payment provider, and paid access ends when the refund is issued. Fees exclude applicable taxes, which are charged separately.
Futurepedia advertises its newsletter as free, with curated tools, tutorials, and use cases delivered on Tuesday and Friday, one-click unsubscribe, and no credit card. That publishing offer has a different scope from the paid Skill Leap membership.
Some vendor services, including listings, use one-time fees and do not renew automatically. The current terms say these payments are generally noncancelable and nonrefundable except for the stated exceptions. A tool failing the editorial policy, or discontinuation of the relevant service less than 30 calendar days after payment for a one-time service, triggers a refund to the original payment method and ends the associated access. These listing rules are separate from the recurring-membership renewal dispute process.
FutureTools combines AI news, expert commentary, tool discovery, and interviews curated by Matt Wolfe. Its recommended-tool list is ranked by visitor upvotes over the last 30 days. The discovery format centers on news and curation with a recent-vote list; Futurepedia adds role-oriented planning and structured learning. Visitor votes describe list ordering, not independent proof of tool accuracy.
Product Hunt presents daily technology launches, a launch archive, maker stories, and community forums across software categories. That format suits release discovery and maker conversations. Futurepedia emphasizes how existing AI tools fit into work and how to learn them. Launch information and instructional courses answer different questions.
The NotebookLM course introduction lists lifetime access to all video lessons, while the recurring-service terms say paid access ends at the end of the billing period following cancellation. Their scopes are not reconciled in those descriptions. The course wording does not establish that canceling a Skill Leap subscription preserves the full paid library indefinitely, and the subscription clause does not explain a separate lifetime entitlement for that individual course.
Learning materials and linked software also have separate rights. The incorporated website terms allow site and content use for noncommercial personal purposes and/or learning about HubSpot's offerings. They restrict copying, publishing, uploading, and distributing content except where specifically permitted. That is a rule about the website's material; it is not a commercial license for outputs made in every third-party tool demonstrated by a course. The same terms state that outbound sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and disclaim responsibility for their availability and content.
Futurepedia accepts AI tools only and says NSFW products, including dating and romance tools, are excluded; AI newsletters and other directories are also rejected as submissions. This is an editorial admission rule. It does not establish the safety or suitability of every output a listed external service could produce.
Futurepedia discloses sponsorship and affiliate relationships, including compensation from some link clicks or purchases. It says affiliate relationships do not change the buyer's price and that compensation may be reversed when a purchase is returned. The publisher also says it does not sell rankings or hide weaknesses and that referral partnerships do not change its editorial stance. These statements describe the publisher's position, not independently established neutrality.
Futurepedia's terms incorporate HubSpot's privacy policy and website terms. The privacy policy covers websites and services linking to it, and says web-form interactions may collect email, name, job title, and similar business information. It also says some websites can be explored without providing personal data. This scope distinguishes passive exploration from submitting account, newsletter, or other form information.
The incorporated policy says personal data may be processed when using its products and services to develop, support, and improve HubSpot AI features and train its AI models and similar services based on machine learning. This is policy-level permission, not evidence that every Futurepedia planning response is used for training. It also does not support a blanket claim that Futurepedia data is excluded from training.
Retention depends on the type of information and how it is collected and stored. The policy retains data for ongoing legitimate business needs, including legal obligations, disputes, and enforcement of agreements. When that need ends, it describes deletion or anonymization, or secure storage and isolation where deletion is not possible. This is not a single fixed retention period for every Futurepedia interaction.
Privacy rights depend on location and applicable law. The incorporated policy lists access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction, portability, and consent withdrawal, while preserving prior lawful processing and processing based on other lawful grounds. It also describes limitations where a request would affect others' rights, a requested service, or legal obligations. Marketing opt-out does not stop administrative messages or responses to a person's requests.
The service terms identify HubSpot, Inc., operating under the Futurepedia brand, as the provider of the directory, verified listings, Skill Leap AI, and related member content and tools. They incorporate HubSpot's website terms and privacy policy, while explicitly distinguishing the HubSpot Customer Terms of Service for other HubSpot services.
Futurepedia provides an update-a-tool form for requests to correct directory information. Its editorial team reviews submitted requests. It is a correction route, without a promise of immediate publication.
The terms describe a verified check mark, enabled reviews, enhanced page elements, and eligibility for sponsorships, editorial placements, and other limited offers. Eligibility does not promise that a vendor will receive every placement. These are directory services for listed products, separate from a learner's Skill Leap course membership.
