Design.com is an AI-powered online design platform that helps startups, entrepreneurs and small businesses create a logo and the brand assets built around it: business cards, social media graphics, print materials and a website. Everything runs in the browser, and the whole toolkit is organized around one purchased logo that the other tools reuse.
The terms of use name DesignCrowd Pty Ltd, with an address in Surry Hills, New South Wales, Australia, as the company behind the service. The company says Design.com also owns and manages DesignCrowd, a custom design marketplace. Design.com was announced in July 2024 as a new platform from the company behind DesignCrowd and BrandCrowd.
Two facts shape most buying decisions: logos are sold through monthly or annual subscriptions rather than a single purchase, and each subscription covers one logo. Both are covered in the pricing and limitations sections below.
The logo is the anchor for the rest of the product. Design.com lists more than 50 design tools, and designs made with them are automatically customized with your logo colors, which keeps business cards, posts and print pieces visually consistent without re-entering brand settings.
Printed products are a separate paid service covering business cards, T-shirts, mugs and more. Standard shipping takes up to 11 business days and express shipping up to 5 business days, counted from when the order goes into production.
Good fit
Weaker fit
Design.com pricing is built around logo packages sold as monthly or annual subscriptions; the company states that a logo cannot be bought as a one-time payment. Its suggested workaround is a monthly subscription cancelled before the first month ends, after which you keep the logo license and design files.
| Package | Typical listed price | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Starter (Logo Pack) | typically $25 per month | One logo with high-res and vector files, unlimited logo edits, templates and a basic website builder |
| Value (Logo Pack + Website) | $34 per month | Starter plus the premium website builder |
| Premium (Logo Pack + Website + More) | $34 per month | Value plus the Link in Bio creator and digital business card maker |
Value and Premium carry the same typical $34 monthly price, although Premium adds the Link in Bio creator and the digital business card maker. The prices are labelled typical: the company says it can provide a discount code on request and that annual plans come with even better rates. Exact checkout prices for a given account and region were not shown on the public pages checked on September 27, 2026.
An independent review published in November 2025 saw different plan names and euro prices depending on where a user started. From the logo section, two logo packs ranged from €3 to €6 per month billed annually, or €9 to €14 month to month. The reviewer also reported that the options changed over the days of testing, going from three tiers in the logo flow to two.
| License | What it grants | Typical upgrade price |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | Non-exclusive use, included in every package | Included |
| Buyout | Non-exclusive; the logo leaves the store, earlier buyers keep their rights | $12/month, $36/year or $100 one time |
| Exclusive | Full intellectual property rights; the logo leaves the store | $15/month, $60/year or $145 one time |
Buyout and Exclusive are mutually exclusive for a given logo, and not every logo offers an Exclusive License.
Company pages disagree on what happens after cancellation. The cancellation help page says you retain the Standard License indefinitely once the subscription is cancelled. The service terms say a Standard License bought under a subscription lasts for the duration of that subscription, while one bought with a one-time fee lasts in perpetuity.
Company pages also differ on renewal refunds. The refund help page offers a full refund of the latest charge if requested within 7 days of the auto-renewal. The service terms allow refunds within 7 days of a monthly recurring charge or within 30 days of an annual or longer one, and only where the subscription was not used in that period.
Partly. A free account can publish a website, link in bio and digital business card, and a small selection of logos can be downloaded free. High-quality downloads of most designs require a premium account.
Not as a package. Logo packages are monthly or annual subscriptions, although Buyout and Exclusive license upgrades can be bought with a one-time payment.
Design.com does not grant or guarantee trademark rights, and logos under non-exclusive licenses may not qualify for registration.
The service terms say it may, naming prompts, business names, photos and edited designs among the content that can be used.
