Customuse is an AI 3D creation platform for building assets, scenes, environments, characters, textures, materials and visual content. It combines an AI 3D model generator with a workspace for refining, organizing and exporting the result. Roblox clothing and avatar items remain part of the product, alongside broader game, image, video and studio workflows.
A creator can remix a garment template on a phone, while a studio can connect generation, geometry preparation, texturing and rigging through a node graph. These workflows produce different deliverables: a classic shirt image, a wearable mesh or a rendered visual.
The studio workflow is described as a connected pipeline for generation, retopology, texturing and rigging. Its high-poly stage supports up to 2M polygons and four variations in parallel, according to the company. These are advertised studio-workflow figures.
Customuse acts as a Roblox clothing maker for both classic clothing and layered garments. It describes generated jackets, hoodies, dresses, costumes, armor and outfits that fit the avatar, while classic clothing includes shirts, pants, uniforms, merchandise and themed event apparel.
Roblox creation also extends to accessories, props, pets, collectibles, vehicles and avatar items. The company says its Roblox output handles polycount, scale, textures and packaging for that destination. It also offers thumbnails for games, updates, events, marketplace assets and worlds.
The documented mobile workflow edits a garment template, previews it on an avatar and uploads the exported image through Roblox Create.
The mobile template workflow produces a 2D classic shirt, even though the design is previewed on a 3D avatar. Layered clothing uses a different mesh-based workflow.
Customuse describes a studio service that rigs generated wearables to the customer's own character rig. The proprietary-rig pilot is built around the customer's topology standards and engine requirements. This targets studios making cosmetics for an established character system.
A Roblox workflow can be saved for a game, event or asset type and rerun for later packs of thumbnails, clothing, props or marketplace assets. This supports recurring themed releases.
Customuse says it is designed to work alongside existing creative and production tools. It does not position itself as a replacement for professional 3D software.
Customuse provides browser-based tools and mobile apps for Android and iOS. A subscription purchased on the website attaches to the email address and Customuse username used to sign in on the web and in the mobile app.
| Surface or output | Documented scope |
|---|---|
| Mobile clothing workflow | Remix templates, recolor, add artwork, preview on an avatar and export an image to the camera roll |
| 3D export menus | Dedicated GLB and FBX options; the product update also describes transparent-background rendering and improved artifact reuse |
| Studio engine handoff | FBX, GLB and USD are advertised for Unreal, Unity or a custom engine; the retopology output is described as quad-only without automatic triangulation |
| Roblox publishing | Direct upload is described for eligible generated assets; it does not cover every asset indiscriminately |
| Free file converter | Lists GLB, GLTF, OBJ, FBX and STL, with conversions processed locally in the browser |
The free converter's local-processing claim is specific to that tool; cloud generation has separate processing terms. Its format list also differs from the studio export list.
The GLB/FBX export update names Unity, Unreal and Blender as handoff destinations. These are file-based exports; platform acceptance remains subject to the destination's requirements.
Monthly prices captured on October 27, 2026 are shown below with the displayed $ symbol. Generation credits, exports and seats are separate plan dimensions.
| Plan | Displayed monthly starting price | Included monthly AI credits | Main scope |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $14.99 | 1,000 fixed | Core design tools and templates, unlimited exports, commercial rights; extra credits available in-product |
| Pro | $35 | 3,000 | Individual credit scaling, full AI-generation tools, unlimited exports, commercial rights, no Customuse watermark and live chat support |
| Studio | $99 | 9,000 shared | Three included seats, up to eight seats before Enterprise, shared workspace/credits, usage visibility, Brand Kit and priority rendering/support |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | More than eight seats, custom credit packages, multiple teams, SSO, group access controls, API/integrations, onboarding and security reviews |
Pro lists 3,000, 4,000, 5,000 and 7,000 monthly credits, with the highest self-serve tier shown at $65 for 7,000 credits. Studio lists shared usage from 9,000 to 20,000 credits, with the highest tier shown at $179 for 20,000. Extra credits can also be bought in-product.
Annual billing is described as 20% off the base plan, with added Pro and Studio credit tiers charged using the monthly price difference. The base-plan discount does not describe a flat discount on every credit tier.
Image, 3D, texture and world-asset generation consume credits at tool-dependent rates. Unlimited exports do not make the generation budget unlimited.
Free access covers trying core design tools, community templates and first downloads. The pricing explanation associates upgrading with AI credits, unlimited exports, watermark removal, commercial rights and team collaboration.
Subscriptions automatically renew for the period shown at checkout unless cancelled before renewal. Web subscriptions can be cancelled in account settings; app-store subscriptions use that store's process. Deleting the Customuse account does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
For a subscription bought directly through the website, the consumer terms allow a refund request within 14 days after payment. A request can be denied for suspected misuse, abuse, fraud, repeated refund requests or a terms breach. Outside that policy, applicable legal requirements or an express checkout exception, fees are non-refundable, including partial billing periods, unused features, used credits and early cancellation. App-store refunds and cancellations follow the store's own rules.
Meshy and Tripo offer their own creation tools and also supply models named within Customuse. The comparison includes both the model and the surrounding workspace.
Customuse combines model selection with node workflows, scene control, Roblox clothing/publishing and shared studio work. The providers' own descriptions establish their features, without establishing comparative quality, asset cost or equivalent commercial terms.
A company-level review page displayed 2.1 out of 5 from 23 reviews as captured on October 27, 2026. It warned that the company had not invited customers and the sample might not be representative. This aggregate does not quantify a specific defect.
Users retain whatever rights they have in their content, and Customuse does not claim ownership of inputs or outputs. Lawful personal or commercial output use remains subject to feature, plan, template, asset and third-party restrictions. A paid plan's commercial-rights label does not remove those qualifications.
Templates, stock assets and other users' content can carry labels or additional terms. Personal-use-only content cannot be used commercially. A derivative work gives the creator rights only in their own additions and changes; it does not transfer ownership of the underlying material. Asset ownership, download permission and marketplace acceptance are separate questions.
Customuse's conditional permission to use hosted outputs does not itself specify a license to the underlying model code or weights. Applicable third-party terms remain in place.
The consumer terms say User Content will not train Customuse generative AI models unless the user expressly opts in or instructs it. For third-party AI providers processing content on its behalf, Customuse says it will not authorize training of their general models unless the user has opted in or the feature clearly discloses otherwise before use.
Customuse receives a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable content license for the purposes set out in its terms. Those purposes include operating the service, previews, exports, selected sharing and collaboration, moderation, security and legal compliance.
The privacy notice covers prompts, files, designs and generated content, and says providers may process data outside the UK and EEA. It describes deleting an inactive account six years after it was active, following notice and subject to the user's contrary instruction. Account-related data and queries can be retained for applicable legal limitation periods; analytics data is described as deleted after one year, with retention exceptions where another purpose still requires the data.
Deleting an account or content may not remove copies already downloaded, exported, shared, published, cached or lawfully retained.
Business use and business/team/enterprise plans fall under separate Business Terms. Their stated precedence is a signed enterprise agreement, then an order form, then Business Terms, then Consumer Terms. Business-data training is also subject to an express opt-in exception through a separate agreement, setting or feature notice; ordinary use does not imply opt-in.
Where processor terms are required, the Business Terms restrict submitting special-category, regulated or other personal data requiring additional processor terms until the necessary agreement exists.
The consumer terms require users to be at least 13 to create an account, with parental permission and supervision below 18. Separately, the privacy notice describes under-13 or below-local-consent-age account features where required parental consent exists or a parent creates and manages the account. These texts express different age conditions; an app-store suitability rating does not replace them.
Acceptable use prohibits sexually explicit content and exploitation of minors. It also restricts non-consensual intimate material, impersonation, misleading synthetic media and deepfakes without clear permission and appropriate disclosure. The restrictions cover uploading, generating, publishing and sharing.
Classic shirts are 2D images previewed on an avatar. Layered clothing and generated meshes are different output types.
