Coverr combines a downloadable stock footage and music library with a web workspace for AI video, images, music, voiceovers and sound effects. Stock-detail pages also connect existing shots to an AI recreation route.
Stock downloads, AI generation and programmatic access have different conditions. Paid plans distinguish models, credits and simultaneous jobs; stock licensing preserves third-party rights. Several public pages give conflicting free-credit and API statements, preserved below as captured on October 25, 2026.
Coverr describes royalty-free music as requiring no ongoing royalties or fees for each use. Its license still defines permitted reuse; sponsored results have a different source.
The AI video generator accepts text or an image and advertises a built-in prompt enhancer. Its captured Studio view selected Google Veo 3.1 Lite, four seconds, 16:9 wide and 720p. It showed start-image and end-image inputs, Generate audio, Public Visibility and a 1,000-credit generation display. These are captured settings, not universal output limits or a fixed cost for every video.
The image Studio selected Google Nano Banana 2, with image-upload inputs, one variation, 16:9 wide, 1K, Public Visibility and a 400-credit generation display. Stock-download resolution and generated-output resolution are separate specifications.
AI video generation uses plan-specific model access: lower tiers include selected core models, higher tiers unlock the latest models, and certain higher tiers receive early access.
A stock-video detail page offers Recreate with AI to create new versions of the shot, with an Open in AI Studio control.
Recreation supplies a starting point; generation settings determine the job’s credit use. The original shot’s free-download label does not establish the generated file’s ownership or visibility.
Coverr identifies b-roll transitions, video-conferencing and website backgrounds, music-video footage, promotional ads and social posts as stock-footage uses. These tasks can begin with an existing shot.
The stock-music library names YouTube, blogs, music videos, websites, social platforms, podcasts, online ads and video games. Its FAQ also explicitly permits its stock music and videos on YouTube. That permission does not clear every third-party right in an asset.
Coverr positions AI video for business promotion, service explanations, team updates, social content and product showcases. These are stated uses, not evidence of guaranteed product fidelity or marketing results. Text starts use a description; image starts use existing visual material.
AI music addresses intros and reels, while generated effects address games and podcasts. Downloaded music, a voiceover and a generated soundtrack remain distinct assets.
Its stock license excludes training datasets and competing-service uses; supplied content remains non-exclusive. Those boundaries limit its fit for exclusive-ownership or dataset-sourcing requirements.
The web workspace has separate video, image, music, voiceover and sound-effects panels with an account sign-in route. The homepage describes ordinary free stock-video downloads as available without sign-up.
Coverr offers REST API and MCP integration after account creation and API-key access, covering stock video, music and AI-generated media.
The developer FAQ gives Demo apps 50 API calls per hour and Production apps 2,000 per hour, with custom enterprise limits on request. It says Pro or Ultimate subscribers can promote a Demo app to Production for that hourly quota with no monthly cap.
The Ultimate API card instead displays “Unlimited*,” qualified as subject to fair use in the page’s plan data, in the October 27, 2026 capture. That label and the same page’s 2,000-per-hour FAQ remain inconsistent.
The MCP FAQ separately says library search starts with 1,000 free calls per month; generation spends the key owner’s AI credits. The hourly and monthly access descriptions are not consolidated into one verified allowance here.
Coverr lists Streamable HTTP clients including Claude web and desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code with Copilot, Windsurf and custom agents. MCP generation returns a task ID and estimate; a wait tool checks completion. Outputs appear in the profile and an agent-accessible generation list.
The developer FAQ says API videos require Coverr attribution. The MCP FAQ says everything its tools return is free for personal and commercial projects without attribution. The general stock-download rule does not resolve this discrepancy.
The October 25, 2026 pricing capture showed monthly and annual controls, a Pay yearly comparison and a Special Deal sale of up to 65% off. These are reduced monthly-equivalent amounts in that annual view; month-to-month checkout prices were not captured.
| Plan | Displayed price per month, annual view | AI credits per month | Concurrent tasks | Model access shown |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $4.20 | 20,000 | 1 | Selected AI models |
| Plus | $6.60 | 75,000 | 3 | All latest models |
| Pro | $10.80 | 125,000 | 6 | All latest models |
| Ultimate | $42.00 | 500,000 | 12 | All latest models |
The Plus subscription terms specify advance monthly or annual billing, automatic renewal unless cancelled before renewal, and additional transaction taxes.
The pricing FAQ says premium stock includes high-resolution assets unavailable on free or lower tiers. The stock license broadly describes all published videos and music as free to use. These access descriptions differ; the license alone does not establish every plan’s download entitlement.
The pricing comparison lists Free with 1,000 AI credits but no renewal period in that entry. An August 21, 2026 vendor blog says the free plan renews 1,000 credits monthly. The AI video landing FAQ instead says 10 credits each month for free video creation. Those conflicting descriptions do not establish one settled allowance across entry points.
Credit cost depends on model, resolution, duration and quality. Plan credits refresh on the billing cycle, and unused credits do not carry over on downgrade. This does not establish rollover on an unchanged plan. Purchased extra credits are added immediately and follow the plan’s supported-model rules.
Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades apply at the current billing period’s end. Cancellation through settings preserves access through that cycle and stops further charges. The Plus terms also allow email cancellation, effective at the billing period’s end.
Coverr says credits return automatically for generations that fail or get stuck because of a system error; completed jobs keep their deduction. This is not a cash-refund guarantee for a subscription or an unsatisfactory completed output.
No paid-trial duration, cash-refund window, starting event or refund exceptions were found in the pricing and subscription terms checked for this capture. This limited finding does not establish that refunds are impossible.
Pexels is an alternative for downloadable photos and videos. Its license permits free use, modification and use without required attribution, while barring unaltered resale, implied endorsement and redistribution on stock or wallpaper platforms. These are Pexels’ conditions.
Mixkit separates Stock Video Free License from Stock Video Restricted License, with item-specific Free licenses for stock music, sound effects and video templates. The license index alone does not establish every clip’s detailed commercial permissions.
These alternatives overlap with asset sourcing. Coverr additionally combines stock recreation with video, image and audio generation. That scope difference does not establish superior output quality or speed.
Privacy, publicity, access rights, trademarks and depicted copyright can remain relevant. Recognizable people’s commercial likeness, private properties and restricted areas may require specific releases. Coverr cannot guarantee each item’s permitted-use scope and places responsibility on the user; the commercial-use label does not clear every campaign use.
The Plus terms give the same license as the regular service, without additional terms. Content belongs to Coverr Platform Ltd. or its licensors; users gain no ownership. This supplied-content clause does not separately assign ownership in newly generated AI output.
For contributors, Coverr receives a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free license to fully exploit content, including distribution and commercialization. The definition includes content uploaded, sent or referred through the site; contributors maintain their own backups. This contributor clause is not a dedicated Studio-prompt or reference-image policy.
Coverr supplements unmatched video searches with Shutterstock. The music FAQ separately discloses affiliate Shutterstock/PremiumBeat recommendations. These have another source and are not automatically covered by Coverr’s free-download terms.
The privacy policy covers registration names and email addresses, plus possible automatic collection of IP addresses, search history, browser information, regional and language settings and technical usage data.
Affiliates, agents and representatives may access personal information. Sharing can support service provision, maintenance, improvement, business restructuring and legal or fraud-related purposes. Processing may occur outside the access or residence country, including in countries with different privacy protections.
PII is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for its collection purpose or applicable legal or ethical reporting and retention requirements. This is not a fixed deletion deadline. Deletion or processing-restriction requests may be postponed or denied for current use or other legitimate purposes; account deletion is requested by email.
The reviewed privacy and usage terms did not provide an AI-specific training promise or fixed retention period for prompts, reference uploads or generated files. Public Visibility is not itself a no-training guarantee. The privacy policy requires parental consent for children under 18.
No. The Plus terms say users acquire no ownership rights in supplied content, and the subscription does not add different license terms. The permission to use an asset commercially is distinct from acquiring its copyright or exclusivity.
The published ban governs reuse of Coverr videos and music for training, models or datasets. It does not state how user prompts or reference uploads are treated for model training. No such AI-specific promise was found in the privacy and usage terms reviewed for this capture.
The documented automatic return concerns credits spent on a generation that fails or gets stuck because of a system error. It does not state a cash-refund entitlement for the paid plan. Subscription cancellation is documented separately and takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
